My favorite KO is Foreman knocking out Moorer. Foreman pawing with the jab, then a couple slightly quicker right hands that land but don't seem that devastating and on the second right hand Moorer crumbles to the canvas. I found it comical.

And understated......shows you just how comically powerful that guy was.

Not many fighters could produce that result with that opportunity, in just that manner.

Thomas was one tough SOB.

Julian Jackson's KO of Herol Graham along with the British Commentators

"Oh no...that's what we were worried about...oh he won't get up from that. Would you believe it? Would you believe it?" is particularly sweet. Especially when they were totally blowing Herol Graham all through the fight up to that point.


One of the best ones I've ever seen Live that evoked a scream out of me that you could probably hear 3 miles away was Sergio Martinez vs Paul Williams 2. I lost my mind when that happened.

The KO i enjoyed most recently is Crolla's against Perez but it wasnt really the punch that was great(although it was a terrific body shot) it was more seeing Anthony become world champ

But my favourite KO has gotta be Mercer's of Morrison

Patterson-Ingo II.....what a left by Floyd. The twitching foot of Ingo. Scary.

Hearns with the right hand missile against Duran. Lights out.

My man Smokin' Joe with the left hook on Bob Foster. After the fight in the locker room, Foster laced up his boots to go out into the ring. He didn't know the fight had already happened.

But it has also preserved some important trilogies, that without good referee interference may never have taken place.

I wouldn't call these my favourite Ko's because my money was on the poor bloke's who got Ko'd but Hearns Ko Duran was painful even
though I rate Hearns a legend I cringe even today when I see it and Aussie Champ Pat Leglise Ko'd by Charlie[choo choo] Brown
was awesome.

So many to choose from.

I think Hearns Schuler, Arguello Rooney and Jefferson's monster KO of Mo Harris are up there.

I always liked Ruelas and he was on the cusp of winning but the manner of the comeback and the way Gatti landed the finishing punch makes it that little bit more special.

1) Audley Harrison's KO of Michael Sprott in the rematch.

I've been hugely criticial of Harrison throughout his career, but I give him full props for that KO; one of the best punches ever though.

2) Iran Barkley's KO of Thomas Hearns is another one of my favourites.

Tommy put Iran to the sword & it can't have been far away from the time that the referee would have had to have stopped the fight, but Iran had other ideas & flattened the monster that was Hearns with a beautiful punch.

That was one of the best punches I've ever seen.

It was the way he contorted his arm to throw that punch: I don't know how he did it.

Quite impressive in hindsight. I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't be expecting Tyson to blow Berbick away quite so effortlessly.
It's interesting to think how much of Mikes reputation in the 80's came off of that one win. It immediately erased any doubts that might have lingered from less than invincible showings against Tillis and Green.
