Fury Vs Klitscko II

Been very quiet on this - any hints of dates - if we're looking at May surely they'll need to announce within the next 4 weeks?

Also - whats' the deal re: Germany as a venue - was that in the rematch clause or does Fury hold the cards here and can negotiate for the fight to be in the UK?

Or do we think that the rematch might not happen (or not immediately and Fury will fist have a defence against somebody?).

He's going on like he doesn't kwow if he wants to box anymore. Even though he jumped in the ring with Wilder not long ago.
His depression is kicking in again.

The rematch will definitely happen, Fury is just being Fury.

I am surprised that the clause didn't stipulate that it would be in Germany. It seems like the most likely venue for it though.

I read this morning that they had been offered funny money to fight on a yacht in front of 120 mysterious wealthy people but have turned it down! No TV etc... I thought pantomime season was over :KO:

Yeah, but you do hear about these rich sultans/princes and oligarchs that pay silly money for american singers like Mariah Carey to play a few songs at their weddings / birthdays etc.

Think its probably just a bit of publicity before we get an announcement in a few weeks of date/venue for the rematch.

Speaking personally if I had no motivation for something like he is saying and not sure he wants to do it anymore, surely you would just do it the once more and get the financial stability for you and your family and then call it a day. The payday will be huge and if he did really mean it, which is a big if, that would be the time to call it a day.

Still think May or June time they will do it again.

If I was paying that kinda money for Mariah I'd expect her to wank me off with her arse cheeks never mind a few songs!

Wouldn't surprise me if that wasn't included in the "package" :TU:

What worries me a bit - even though we're probably looking at May for a fight date - is that Tyson is out there being as daft as a brush and WK is probably locked away in a training camp living the life, thinking Fury 24/7 and making big changes.

The moment WK said - I am doing the rematch without blinking - got me a bit worried that he was willing to come back twice as hard/make even bigger sacrifices and that Fury might slip into taking his eye off the ball.

I remain convinced that Wlad - having made such a huge commitment - is going to be a very different prospect and Peter Fury had better appraise his nephew of this situation and put some plans in place.

Great to hear Fury on Talksport dismissing any involvement of Eddie Hearn for the rematch and not cutting him a slice of the cake as he's nothing to do with Tyson and his team and has never done anything for them. Interview starts at 44 mins 45 secs.

Where would this leave the possibilities for the fight on UK tv?

(P.S. Why does Gareth A Davies seem to be regarded as a go to boxing expert?)

I've seen evidence of that in the dictator so it is definitely true!
