I remember sky didnt show the botha fight i think and front row showed it, remember maloney and a few other boxers on a couch talking about the fight.

I'd like it if BBC could get it. I doubt they will but they are the most likely terrestrial television station to get it, even if it is unlikely.

If I remember Front Row paid way over the odds to secure the rights as it was on their opening night (or in their opening week). Do be honest, I have said in another thread that its not looking good. A part of me is glad, because Tyson no longer deserves to be the biggest draw in boxing. However, I know I would purchase it, because I think its a geniune contest - Tyson hasn't fought in a year and I think its probably Danny's best chance of cracking the big league outside of Brewster.

Channel Five told me that they don't have any plans to secure the right to "Major Super Fights" (as if it was a TV series) - so I think they are out of it. I think Sky are our only hope.

Sky will definitely show it, but they're not going to start the hard sell until it looks certain Tyson will show up.

I'm sure its a sky ppv, Tyson v Williams with Skelton fighting on the uk leg.

I'm weighing up whether or not to get sky at the moment, how many of the big American fights are shown on Sky, either free or PPV. How much is PPV usually?

What makes you say that Chris? We got the DKP bumper bill last December.

Trinidads comeback fight is a big event no matter who he faces. The fact that it's Mayorga makes it even more significant.

Yeah 3 out-and-out boxing matches. Tito v Mayorga is a good old world class Latino tear up. The level of anticipation will be on another level entirely.

Let's wait and see with regards to SKY's decision.

The thing with Mike Tyson is he gets a lot of interesting from non-boxing fans, or at least casual fans who watch him but not much other boxing. I can't see it not being televised at all, to be honest.

Sentana have just signed a (believe it or not) multi million pund deal to show exclusive live coverage of the Scottish Premier League for the next four years or so. So thats where their investment is now. Ive never seen boxing on this channel but I have seen football. and the coverage, camera work etc is absolutely abysmal
