Guys I have just switched to Virgin tv and they told me I could order the box office fights no problems but I cannot find the Quigg/Frampton fight up there anywhere, does it appear the week of the fight or is it just better hidden than Skys?

Any help would be gratefully received, otherwise it's round my daughters next Saturday night to watch the fight which I am sure she would love!

Which box have you got? The shows usually appear in the On Demand folder in the week of the fight. If you are TiVO user it may be listed on the home page. May be worth a reboot.
They aren't in HD btw which is annoying.

Got the Tivo box but at least it sounds from what you say that I will be able to get it, I will wait until Tuesday and then hunt around again, real nuisance they are not in HD, usual crap things I asked were clearly not answered when the Virgin offer came through, got my Broadband, landline phone and tv and once added up saved about 80 quid a month so thought it worth doing at the time.

Yeah you will get fight no problem. Think there is some WWE PPV thing on this weekend, will appear up when that's done I would imagine. JUst order it through your tv instantly

Virgin don't show the PPVs in HD? That's piss poor.

Don't think you can record the PPV on virgin either you have to watch it live.

I think you can only book on virgin 2/3 days before the fight and can watch it live or during the next 24 hours.

it will defintely be on there...fury v klit was the last one on virgin, think it popped up to order the monday before the fight.

Sky Atlantic is pretty much the only channel worth watching outside of the Sports channels. Not sure why anyone would choose Virgin as a TV provider in that case?

In this day and age, its pretty weird that HD or not HD is even a question. Paying more for HD is also bizarre really. Marketing.

BT Sport is part of the package plus the broadband is on a different level to any other provider.

The picture quality is actually less than standard definition (480p) , it's utterly awful and compressed to sh1t.

Is there that much of a difference between Virgin's broadband & the fibre-optic packages offered by Sky/BT etc? When my current Sky deal is over I'm planning on cancelling pretty much all of my TV packages apart from B0xnati0n & just moving to the best broadband provider - but the only thing putting me off Virgin is the lack of HD.

All of the Sports channels on Virgin are available in HD except for allegedly and PPV. They do charge a couple of quid less than sky for both. Boxing Tonight on the BT sport channel shows the main allegedly fights in HD.
