Another impressive performance by Maris Briedis, as he stops Danie Venter in the 2nd round.

Hopefully Briedis gets a more significant fight at CW soon. I think he has world class ability but he hasn't gotten many opportunities to prove himself at that level.

I think he def deserves a shot. I could see him having success vs lots of the top guys. Since i first saw him in bigger is better and some low key latvian cards, i always was impressed by his hands skills. He was clearly in another class compared to the other fighters featured in the bigger is better tourney formula. He is one of the best body puncher at cruiser and heavy. If well matched, he could have an impact
