Are You Buying The Frampton-Quigg PPV?

Over the last couple of years I've done a few of these polls for Matchroom's mediocre (to be charitable) PPVs, so in the interests of balance I thought I'd add one for a fight which most of us probably agree is PPV-worthy (if any fight can be deemed PPV-worthy, anyway).

Probably buy it, I won't support the really rubbish PPVs but this is just about decent enough, not massively digging the undercard but it's not woeful either.

Here in the States it's coming on Showtime which I'm glad of. They only recently started showing big fights from the U.K. regularly on there I always had to find 'em elsewhere before.

In this day and age you'd be surprised. There's HD streams now which are pretty damn good.

Nope, never do buy PPVs.
I either find a bar that's showing it (which granted, can sometimes be difficult since I live in Taiwan) or live stream it.

Aren't you guys who will be streaming worried about the streams being shut down/delayed/interrupted etc?
I happily watched the Bellew-Cleverly PPV on a stream as I didn't particularly care if I saw it or not, but would rather pay the 17 quid for this one & guarantee seeing it after looking forward to it for so long.

I would have bought this without a shadow of doubt if it was on a different night. However, i'm doing a half marathon in the morning and as it's a big fight (and i'm desperate for Frampton to win) i know i'll be burning off a lot of energy due to nerves etc.
May well buckle and buy.

Plan to watch Huck vs Afolabi then Crawford vs. Lundy. Inbetween, around about midnight, I should be able to download Quigg vs Frampton in HD from 1 of the 2 boxing torrent sites. It's the only fight on the card I want to see. I'm not paying £16.95 to watch it live when I see it free from a reliable source about 90 mins after the final bell

Will be yes but not sure which addon is best for sport as I usually only use it for films and boxsets. Live sport is more frustrating if you can't find a good quality stream.

I'll be working at a show in Glasgow, but they have an after party showing it, s that saves me having to make a decision.
If I was at home I would probably get it, mainly because my mate, who I don't see too often would be coming over.

sports devil or turks sports will have it but make sure watching it before it starts as they can buffer when busy and it's harder to connect when very busy

I've ordered it, it should be a good scrap. It should just be on normal Sky but those days are gone.

I won't be because I'll be at work and they've bought it for us and I'll see it there.
But, if I was home I would have paid for this.
I boycott shit PPV's but if they actually put on a fight such as this, where the main event justifies a PPV event then I'll buy it. (I'm more bothered about main event than undercard)
Award them for actually putting on the fights they should be.
