I loved his fights with Francis Ampofo.

As for the report above he trains a couple of coked up unlicensed fighters in his garage and then on local shows they walk around like big time Charlie's really.

He did have a good mullet mind

I read the report and it said Armour won the world title 3 times

He's earning off these unlicensed "fighters" so fair play to him in a way. Easy money for him. It's a little disappointing to see quality trainers reduced to working on these shows but it pays the bills.

Can't possibly comment on the drugs thing though.

I know most of the people who take part in these unlicensed shows. Be it trainers, fighters and the "promoters" themselves. I'm not a big fan. One certain "promotion" is amusing though, beyond cringeworthy, but entertaining in a way I guess.

Which promotion? We have a few.

GBBU. The in ring interviews, ring walks etc, someone calling the fights on a microphone as they are "boxing"! As I say, entertaining in a way. Not my cup of tea but each to their own I guess.

I know most of those involved with the other promotion that debuted Saturday just gone up Lordswood too. Again, not really my thing. I can never work out why these "fighters" don't go down the am club and do it properly. Can only assume thats taking it too serious?

I loved watching Johnny. Great action fighter.

He lives close to my sister & I remember her telling me a few years back he was known as a naughty chap.

He was always a decent bloke. Just attracted the wrong type. A fair amount of divs live on the same estate as him ( plenty of nice people too by the way )
