A fighter before my time, but how many fighters can say they won a version of the title at their weight and then lost the British title in their next fight! What on earth happened there?

Jones was supposed to of gone straight into a mandatory defense against Bronco McKart, but Jones wasn't happy with the purse offered and the WBO stripped him of the title.

People never seem to count alex arthur as a genuine champ. Gavin rees is also more remembered for domestic achievements

He was called out by verrron forest after he beat Shane Mosley. He was a cabbi while fighting pro just to support his family. He use to get paied more by being a cabbi then to fight .

He owns his own gym now, there also a artical on how he came in a gym and carl frotch saw his title and that motivated him. He also became pro at 27 so he was getting older retired around 2005. Just before amir khan came to the scene, most people think amir khan was the first British pakistani champion.

I think most people never even heard of this guy lol so there for I win

Everyone on here know about his career and he was on Sky god knows how many times. Mismanaged, maybe, but not unknown.

Gogaladze was never a world title fight. I was an Arthur fan before his head went huge but I just cant think of him as a world champion.

Always wanted to see Jawaid against Sinclair. I remember those three of Sinky, Hare and Jawaid, and they never fought each other....real shame
