This. It'll be very busy too, so get in early. That's generally the place to go for "away" fans in any major sporting event here.

In the arena, yes...in the pubs where everyone thinks they are GGG, maybe not

Thats where we ended up was good round there. Had walked down deansgate which seemed a bit moody (doormen not letting us in as too big a group...4!!)

As I've said on another thread the northern Irish fans were good sound people thats not just coming from me as a Frampton fan my pal who's a big Quigg fan said same we had a great laugh with all the ones we came across. Guaranteed it'll be less welcoming atmosphere next week and I'm only going 20miles up the road to brum

The door staff wouldn't let us in hardly anywhere after the fight and nobody was drunk or causing trouble.

Unfortunately 15 handy looking blokes would struggle to get in anywhere in any city centre at that time I should imagine.

Hope you had a good night though, the atmosphere sounded really good on the TV (Well the main fight did anyway)

The others look a lot handier than me. I don't think the bouncers are worried you'll kick off, they're worried if something did, they'd be up against it. Protecting themselves, really, not the public.
