Seen on the results part that last night prince Patel registered a draw against an opponent who was 3-5. Thought this would cheer a few people up ready for the weekend

Was lucky to get a draw apparently since he was knocked down in the 4th.

Just checked his opponents record he is the guy I saw Charlie Edwards beat without breaking a sweat after the first Crolla v Perez fight.

It must've taken some restraint from the other fella not to volley the wee pecker square in the coupon when he was sprawled on the canvas! Weasel testicles!

Gurantee he will say in an interview that he should have won.
The difference in where him and Edwards are now I'd be amazed if the two of them ever fight.

Wouldn't surprise me.. either that or every excuse in the book as to why he didn't perform.
Certainly a case of his mouth writing cheques he can't cash.
Edwards is levels above, only way I see it happening is that there's a bit of needle between the two that could generate him a bit of money but he's above and beyond Patel. Plus he may just want to stick one on him for his bullshit.

At some point in the next 6 months I can see him being fed to Jay Harris or Andrew Cain at super flyweight by Warren before he cuts ties with him.

I remember in a Q and A, Eddie Hearn got asked 'who is the signing that when you saw them box made you think 'what the fornicate have I done here?''
I think Frank is thinking that now.

Was thinking that mate. Usually when an opponent gets a draw against the 'home' fighter in these type of contests it generally means the home fighter lost....

In fairness I get the impression Edwards is really game for that fight.
