Fair play to Jupp for taking it at short notice, hope he's getting a decent pay day.

Great opportunity for Jupp. Don't know much about Berchelt. Anyone know what he's like and if Jupp has much of a chance? Had a quick look at his record. No stand out wins on it (points decision against a past it Cristobal Cruz) and he was stopped in a round a couple of years ago.

He's an exciting, aggressive, puncher. Flawed defensively but has power and won't mess around when he gets in there. Think his loss is/was on youtube

Would favour Berchelt, but Jupp has half a chance given Berchelt's defensive flaws...don't think Jupp has the power to take advantage but you never know

Glad this is on BN,should be a decent scrap, like most i havent heard of Berchelt before and only recognised Cruz from his record, seems he can bang a bit though,i'd fancy Jupp not to get fazed he seems like a confident fighter and wasnt arsed about Smith's rep last time out, fighting in Mexico is a different proposition mind but if he goes there and gives his all he might get another call back

Confirmed 1 am start time on BN..... this is quite an intriguing contest. Berchelt has beaten the better calibre of opponent for sure.... but his best wins are at that sort of fringe world title (e.g. opponents who have fought for but lost world title fights). He's unproven at world level.

Jupp, has fought at sub British title level (really - I know Smith is a prospect, but not proven) and most of the other time he has fought guys with losing records. We can practically scrap his defeats cos they were so long ago.

If Jupp pulls it off, what a story..... could Martinez be forced to vacate.... hell, Martinez is surely now a fight who could "go" at any time. He's not getting any younger and has had a tough career.

A step to far for Jupp I reckon.

FairPlay for taking it on such short notice and good luck to him.

Got a feeling he might get stopped early.

A guy with power, short notice, hostile crowd and not having power yourself doesn't bode well.

Done a lot of Sparring with George when he would of only been 16-17odd and he was as strong as a Ox even then, what a great story this will be!!! I know it is late notice etc but he's always in the gym and will be Fit, coming off a great win.. Best of Luck to him I hope he pulls it off :box:

Berchelt destroyed Jupp with a beautiful uppercut.

Bring on Martinez that one should be a war.

Had to take the opportunity, but there was more chance of michael barrymore getting a job as a swimming pool attendant than him winning

Props to Jupp for going for it not many would have the balls to step in on short notice against a puncher like Berchelt.

Berchelt is really coming into his own his lone blemish is flash ko against a guy who can crack.

Imo Berchelt beats Martinez.
