What about Ortiz-Thompson? Okay, my vote is for "Ortiz stays at #4, Thompson stays out" but I'm sure some will want to take the chance to vote him upwards.

Joshua is where the majority have voted him to be, same applies for Martin. Personally, I agree with Joshua's ranking, but think Martin should be in there above Glazkov because a win is a win, but I was overruled by the majority.

Beating a 37 year old who should not have been ranked in the first 15 should not get you in. Chagaev had not beaten a top 30 heavyweight in nearly 8 years. On the night he proved he is barely a top 30 heavyweight himself, Browne got lucky but in no way is he a top 15 heavyweight and certainly not ahead of Charles Martin, David Haye.

how is glazcov in there and martin is not? i dont rate martin at all, but he beat glazcov, when it comes to rankings the win is what matters

Chagaev is still clearly better as the 5 person below him, but worser as the two below those 5, just like Lucas Browne.
The fight itself didn't prove much for me, Browne his face was messed up after the fight and has been flying all over the ring, Chagaev was completely uninjured, annoyed and clearly wasn't done at the moment the fight was stopped. Nevertheless he should have fought back after 20 seconds, so it's his own fould.

I personally didn't consider Browne or Chagaev to be top 15, maybe not even top 20. The winner of that fight, badly struggling to get the win... I would be cautious about moving him up too far.
Not sure if Ortiz is better than Wilder, but his resume is better (Jennings + Thompson > Stiverne + Szpilka, IMO), and I think the onus should be on Wilder to one-up Ortiz to get his spot back. Beat someone in the top 7 and you're back in.

I feel the opposite way - that Ortiz is very likely the better fighter than Wilder but that Deontay's resume is quite a bit better. Jennings > everyone Wilder has fought but apart from Thompson there really is a lot of nothing on Ortiz's record so far (what is his third best win? KOing Page? Vidondo was awful) whereas Wilder has Stiverne, Szpilka, Scott and Duhaupas. Not exactly a murder's row but hell, even Molina, Liakhovish, maybe even Harrison and K Price would mop the floor with Ortiz's pre-Jennings opposition.

Ortiz to #4, Thompson Out.

Browne to #5, Chagaev Out.

Note: This does NOT mean I think Browne could beat a Pulev or a few others ranked below him, but Browne just recently beat a top name, some with superior skills recently have not.

Topic A

Browne to #8 Chagaev to #11

This was a good match. Chagaev was winning on points but Browne caught him in the end. Browne has improved nicely. Hes moving and stamina are much better than before. I picked him to win this one. I was really worried at round 6. I think he was really close of loosing the fight then. Saved by the bell. Well he made nice recovery and came back to win the fight.

I think that Browne has great strength and power. He was pushing Chagaev around the ring at will. He has improved hes footwork lot and is in good shape. He is also slow and has leaky defense. I think he will fail at the top level but he will not be a easy win for anyone.

Chagaev is starting to look old. He is still very skilled and good gate keeper for the top 10.

Nobody has made beating Thompson look easy before. He is way past hes best by now but has given hard fights to everyone. Good showing from Ortiz. I Think he is better than Wilder and Jennings is better win than anything Wilder has.

As a vote, I'll try to do whatever I can to make the list the best possible, I'd say Browne rank 8, Chagaev rank 9, Ortiz rank 3.
Somehow the list I see doesn't make sense at all, 4 or 5 boxers in the list shouldn't even be in the top 25 heavyweight and some on the bottem should be ranked way higher. Stiverne for example shouldn't be in the top 15, I can name at least 30 persons he would lose against badly.
