Anounced that Ricky Burns will fight Michele Di Roco for the vacant WBA superlightweight world title in May.

That title isnt to be confused with the WBA super superlightweight world title that Broner and Theophane will fight for in April.


WBA, removing confusion over their world champions with one hand, confusing the fornicate out of everyone with the other!

Seriously???

I love Ricky Burns, he was a decent fighter...but he isn't any more. The sooner we start to truly shun the WBA as a creditable organisation, and boxers follow suit, the better it will be for boxing.

I can see Burns winning this.

Really hope the Matchroom promotion team don't go overboard in calling it a world title though.
