Prizefighter Series 2 this week:
http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f ... 3#p4355763
And we need 4 Cruisers and 4 Super Middles to complete the tournament.
Only 1 fighter per Manager. So choose who you are putting in carefully.

James Toney will defend against Michalczewski or Jirov, whoever is first to accept. I will fall back on O'Neil Bell if either fight can't be made.

Chris Eubank will fight Mikkel Kessler. Back up is In-Chul Baek.

Jirov will take it.......

Calzaghe will keep Kessler as a title defense fall back option, since he is ranked.
In the meantime, he'd like to offer Collins or Froch the fight to start.

Steve has already met and lost to Joe twice already. However after a discussion with him, we are hoping for 3rd time lucky. We graciously accept your offer.
(And hope for a bit of luck along the way)

It's not too hard to find Jirov, so I'm sure Toney will be giving it.....

I figured Collins was nice enough to offer a shot to Joe when he didn't have to, so I'd repay it back to Collins. Good luck sir.....

Leonard meant to challenge Joe Calzaghe before this thread went up

.......maybe next week if both fighters win?
Okay,
Sugar Ray will fight
Lindell Holmes which should be a good competitive matchup

Perhaps sir. I think after this week, both weights combine, so it's a whole new world out there.....

okay, so it probably wont happen then. I just wanted some revenge because when they fought, Leonard knocked Calzaghe down and was winning on all cards. I thought the ref stopped the fight early. There's no way Leonard was hurt by Calzaghe. TKO my @$$

WBC WORLD CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION EVANDER HOLYFIELD's eligible title defense opponents:
1 Gomez Juan Carlos Cuba Cruiserweight 1776.9
4 Michalczewski Dariusz Poland Cruiserweight 1390.4
6 Nelson Johnny England Cruiserweight 1292.4
9 Huck Marco Germany Cruiserweight 1157.2
The Champ will fight any of these bums starting with the one at the top of the list. Waddaya say Fist? The weight classes combine next week so you're number 1 spot disappears anyway right? Even though your performance points are still affected. Do performance points reset with the merger?

Just re-read the fight.
Announcers had Calzaghe winning up until the stoppage.
Punchstats had Joe winning. Landed/threw more, better %.
RBR points were 5-4-1 in rounds for Joe, but the knockdown for Leonard made it even in that aspect.
Basically Leonard was very lucky to be up on two cards. I don't know how one judge had him ahead by 3 points. Joe had 31points in the RBR at the time of stoppage. Granted there round was nearing a close, but Leonard was taking some abuse that round.

No, the performance points will remain as they are.
Naturally, if a fighter wins his points go up, if he loses they go down. A simple system, but effective and easy to understand.

Toney has taken his share of knocks, and he's been decked by lesser fighters than Jirov. I expect a good one with multiple re matches down the line.
(If we lose, of course

It was a good and close fight. The way you worded it,I thought Calzaghe was getting drubbed and I blocked it from memory. Either way sir, they will meet again soon...
