I believe it's very very smart what he's doing! If he outpoints Canelo to a comfortable decision victory 116-113 type of fight he RIGHT AWAY
becomes the No.1 attraction in the sport which increases the demand for a Khan vs Mayweather if he chooses to come out of retirement like most
of us KNOWS he will he's not the best business person like a Oscar, Jay Z, Haymon, or Arum. Floyd will return in 2017! I just really truely caught
whiff of what Khan's TRUE motives are and that is to steal the spotlight from Canelo and if he pulls this one off Mayweather vs Khan is the most
LOGICAL fight that can be made for Floyd's 50th fight
Khan already has a huge fan base beating Canelo will take his stardom to another level. If Khan's plan flourish and Floyd avoids him in his return
bout the general public will outright bash him for ducking Khan! Khan is by himself right now but if he whips Canelo than Floyd will get trashed the
same way almost for ducking Manny...but Khan has to look spectacular vs Canelo. I had Canelo as the HUGE favorite but now seeing how Khan is
looking at the bigger, much larger picture Canelo will LOSE. He will have his desperation moments but don't forget Khan is looking for bigger things
already BEYOND a Canelo Alvarez. This way of thinking spells DISASTER for Canelo Alvarez MARK MY WORDS.

Ya'll get my point? If he sidesteps Khan next time around then it will be obvious then you'll have guys like Bayless & local radio stations bringing up
the Amir Khan potential fight. Khan knows what he's doing......

That fu@kers smarter than most give him credit for.

Mayweather did not want to fight Kahn and instead he took fights against guys like Andre Berto, Victor Ortiz, Robert Guerrero and other hosts of bums. I doubt Mayweather comes back to fight Kahn. If he comes back it will be against someone with much less talent. Mayweather looks for the vulnerable and fighters in decline. I could see Floyd vs. Garcia. I could see Floyd v Bradley if Bradley beat Pac but if Kahn had a nice win against Alvarez I could not see that fight at all unless Kahn showed some great vulnerabilities. You see Floyd is an opportunist who is deathly afraid to lose. That is why he took Berto as his last fight. Of the top ten 147 fighters right now Floyd has fought exactly one of them. Pac. That is it and it is by design. That is part of Floyd's legacy.

Actually, given Bradleys resume, skill, and p4p ranking, he would still deserve a shot at Floyd more than anyone at welterweight, especially if he beats pac again.
If Khan gets past Alvarez and mayweather shocks the world picking Bradley, either one would be a legit pick and solidifies his legacy. The winner of thurman-porter would also be a legit pick and I would have no complaints from any of these three.
Garcia may have beaten Khan but styles make fights and mayweather would pick apart and cruise to an easy decision win. No one wants to see that garbage unless Garcia improves his plodding footwork and makes some major changes in his game plan and skill.

He never defeated Pac. That was a robbery.

I guess the only thing he has to fear is losing to Canelo, but since he WANTS to win so he can make more money, I am sure he will.
Though, I never tire of the way in which you get into these fighter's heads to figure out what is really going on.

It seems like everyone is banking on Floyd to come back except Floyd himself. If he wanted someone on the decline looking vulnerable for his last fight instead of Berto he would have picked Khan and made more money. Khan looked vulnerable, confused, and got rocked by the light hitting Algieri. Khan has used the excuse of Floyd or Manny to avoid the other top guys in 147.
Khan knew his career will be over if he got KO'd by a welter like Brook, Spence, Thurman, or Porter. He has nothing to lose vs Canelo. Khan claims his chin is stronger, his power has tripled, is just as fast, and will be at a similar weight as Canelo. Khan claims he will be 163-165, and Canelo claims the same. I dislike both guys so I hope its close til the end, when Canelo KO's Khan. Khan's chin will gain more fame, and Canelo will look bad for it taking so long.

But garcia is undefeated and the WBC champ and the fight could be sold. I agree with your analysis though. I see the fight the same way.

Khan has a huge fan base, does he?
Against Algieri 7,000 went to see him
Against Alexander 4,000 paid at the gate
Against carlos molina if you bought a kids toy to the gate you got a ticket for the fight and the toy was donated to charity.

That isn't the point .
Whether you think he did or not, there's still tons of media attention on pacquiao. If Bradley beats him he will be king of welter and as deserving of a shot at floyd as anyone else. If Khan wins he will also be up there. I'd be overjoyed with either pic from mayweather.

Khan now says he is faster! Add that to his power tripling, and being at his natural weight, he plans on moving back to 147 after he beats Canelo. (even though he was absolutely killing himself to make 147

) He will next beat Danny Garcia for the title, and that will bring Floyd out of retirement to finally fight him!

Khan isn't winning this fight but I think even he knows that. This is about getting PAID. He's got nothing to lose. Everyone expects him to lose. And he will lose. And that's ok. He can just claim bravery and then go back to doing well in his own weight class. With a bloated bank account for his troubles.

If he doesn't get stopped, it will be a big success for Khan. With pocket judges Canelo always has, it is extremely hard to get a decision against him.

Khan has no path to victory. No chance in hell he stops Canelo. And the chances of winning a decision against Canelo are almost zero. He would have to absolutely dominate. And he won't.

Canelo will win in dominant fashion.
Ko in 6

Mr Acres, if Canelo wins in a "dominant fashion" then it's over in 1 or 2 rounds. If he dominates Khan for more than a round then Khan will not be standing up.

When Mayweather fought Ortiz, Khan was still a 140 pound fighter and 3 month from losing to Lamont Peterson.
When Mayweather fought Guerrero, Khan was getting knocked around by Julio Diaz the week before.
I'd give you Berto ... but when Floyd fought Berto, Khan was 3 months removed from going to hell with Chris Algieri.

You brits are as delusional as they come.
Khan isn't doing shiit to Canelo.
Canelo is on a different level than khan he will run over him in brutal fashion.
