Any others out there with a Long Career like this...

Not as long but James Toney had a fight last year and his debut was 1988. He's finished now but Oliver McCall 1985-2014.

Funnily enough I saw him fighting Anthony 'Best Daddy Ever' Bonsante on KOTV the other week in some redneck community centre. He won by DQ and it was tragic to watch. Just call it a day 'Yori Boy'.....

At least they could still perform at some level unlike Michael Sprott who fought again last week and lost in the 1st round again. That's 4 KO losses in a row now, 3 of those by 1st round knockout.

Sad to watch. Still in decent enough shape too. Long hard career caught up with him years ago.

I read a story years ago that Campas had wanted to retire and was threatened by Mexican gangsters with guns that if he did he would be killed, they threw him out of a moving car as well.

afraid not, think they'd muscled in on his manager - he was a little cash cow and a way to launder a bit of money. Those Mexican gangsters do not mess about.

Sprott - that was pathetic, couple of half-decent punches landed and he was away with the fairies. Shot to absolute pieces. Same with Danny Williams. They need protecting from themselves.

That's another scary KO to add to Sprott's growing collection. Only looked a glancing blow but it destroyed him. He should have retired after his points loss to Helenius. Since then he's taken a string of beatings.

Happened to Hatton. He looked in bother a few times against Lazcano and it wasn't massive shots either.

Saw it on fightnews when I woke up this morning. I assumed I wasn't reading properly but yeah, he had 1200 applicants or something and it's not just an exhibition. I know his career is just so bizarre the last few years but this is circus stuff. It's lose/lose for him, what's he got to gain?

Yeah, just checked - it was 1500 applicants. He gets 100k if he wins.

Sprott never had an iron chin in his prime, but it is shocking how bad he's going over nowadays.
Is he still licenced by BBBoC or is it overseas?
Sprott along with Williams both seem nice guys, they need the people who should be looking after them to say enough is enough.

Roberto Duran started in 1968, retired in 2001.
