George Foreman got balls of stone

watching an interview, where the interviewer asked him about his lion and tiger (foreman same as tyson had them as pets) and he told the story why he and the lion had to part ways.

"one day the lion tried to attack and kill my brother, i didnt want my brother to be killed, so i attacked the lion, i swung at him and when the lion understood that i was just as dangerous as him at that moment he backed off, me and the lion never became friends from this moment on."

wtf, never heard the story, but can you imagine the courage somebody needs to have to attack a freaking lion :geek:

This is the same man who said 'God' had a chat with him after the Jimmy Young fight :-?

Well this isn't exactly current news but yes everyone knows Foreman had brass balls. Outboxing him is one thing but there are very few human beings (or animals apparently) who could beat him in a street brawl.

Not that impressive. Carl Froch would do it in front of 80000 fans at Wembley.

Have you ever heard of Paul Bunyan? This is nothing compared to what he did. NOTHING.

Impressive story, but almost certainly complete horseshite. No matter how hard George is, if a fully grown Lion wanted to, it would literally have him for breakfast.

As a side note, saw a documentary that showed a Jaguar attacking a cayman crocodile, unreal.

Had it for breakfast by the look of it too.
I don't think the Lion would have to be that stealthy with George though :TU:

look, i am not one of george friends, i do not know if its 100 % real or not. i just saw the interview and thats it. he said he raised a lion and one day the lion attacked his brother and he swung at the lion and the lion backed off.

animals are similar like humans, they also have fear. bears for example are 10 times stronger than human and would kill any human within secondes, yet still there are tactics moving the arms and making yourself bigger that you are that could safe your live, because often bear get irritated by that and go away, often saw that in docus. does it work every time, sure as hell not haha

Watched a documentary about great white sharks the other day, this nutter had made a model shark that floated on top of the water. He got on the float, tied by a piece of string to a boat while 3 massive great whites swam around him wondering what the fornicate the float was. The second he got off one of the sharks attacked, the nutter said it was the maddest thing he'd ever done. I hope so!

I'm disappointed you are not George's friend. This news has ruined by day, and possibly my entire life from here on in.

N.B

The shouting and waving your arms thing works with brown bears, but not Grizzly bears. Apparently brown bears are easily freaked out, whereas if you do the same to a grizzly, they take it as a very personal affront and rip you to pieces. Brown bears are all blouse and no skirt, grizzlys are not to be dicked around with.

bottum line is animals much stronger than human, some do get scared when you do certain shit like waving arms etc., so if it works with brown bears, why not with lions? i believe the story of foreman, why would he lie and make the story up, makes no sense. if he would have said "i am stronger than a lion", than i would have declared him crazy, but the story of him sounds true.

reminds me of the story about Tyson and the bullying gorilla in japan, apparently he saw a silverback picking on a smaller gorilla in a zoo and freaked out demanding to be let into its cage to take it on ! back then people probably thought Tyson would smash the silverback such was his mystique, but in reality Tyson would have been ripped to bits in seconds
