Why exactly is Wilder talking about Haye?

All 3 beat Wilder.

Fury cruises to a boring, ugly, decision win fighting similar to the way he did against Wlad. Taking no risks, switching his stance, fighting defensive but landing just another jabs and power shots to take the rounds.

Haye does similar but keeps looking for and eventually lands a big KO punch late in the fight after Wilder gets frustrated and reckless.

Joshua is the only one Wilder stands a chance of winning. Joshua is the better boxer though and has a better chin so I think that will be enough to see him pick up a KO win.

As for the other major British boxers...

Price gets KO'd when Wilder looks at him.

Chisora gives it a decent go and wins a handful of rounds before getting stopped in the 5th or 6th.

Whyte gets stopped without causing Wilder much trouble.

Deontay needs to worry about Povetkin first.

If he gets through the logical superfight for his is Fury. I'd se fury bamboozling him for 12 rounds and winning on points. BUT wilders always got a chance against anyone with his power.

I was thinking exactly the same, I think Wilder can't beat the others, he probably can't even beat an uninjured Dillian Whyte.

Wilder vs Haye would be a really boring fight because Haye would run so much, he'd never get near him. But I'm sure Haye will talk all about it.

Wilder would be a slight underdog against Fury and Joshua IMO but those are the best HWs on the planet also IMO.

Wilder is not the smartest person. Even if he was really confident, it wouldn't mean much.

So...............is Wilder saying this stuff a surprise?
Do people expect him or any other boxer to say they don't think they can beat the other guys in their division?

Wilder isn't a brilliant guy like Tyson Fury. Boxing isn't Cambridge or Oxford.
