I never suggested death. It came out wrong. Thats why i said not quite, the opposite. I just dont like david haye, cost me money thats all, cant afford to waste my wages tbh.

briggs is comical and a down to earth man but haye is gonna beat him, don't like haye so would love to see briggs bust him but i doubt its gonna happen

Shocking fight, so small a step up from De Moro it's almost laughable. Briggs will get stood on his head and I hope he gets taken out early as his solid chin could see him take a lot of clean shots. His defence has always been poreous and he's never been quick but he looks like he is walking through treacle these days and his work rate is single figure punches per round.

It's smart by Haye as Briggs is a great talker, has built a decent social media following and had the media eating out of his hand over here this week. In reality though he's never been top level, hasn't had a decent win in almost a decade and is a 44 year old who took a hellish 12 round beating in his last fight worth a damn and had been banned as a drugs cheat. It's not even a contest

No official announcement or twitter/Facebook mention from either man as well as Haye recently dismissing the idea. Probably not really on.

I'm not defending it,briggs should be saved from himself at 44 years old but like it or not he's the wba no 4.

If that fight happens the fight is massive

I love it, at least one of them will be shutted up forever after that fight, I'm affraid it will be Briggs, but if he makes it through there he really makes a point and I'm really going to laugh.

Cannae see it being vetoed to be honest, don't think their are grounds to (other than by punters!).

Briggs ranking with the WBA is brutal even for them though. Who'd he beat to get there?

If BBBofC dont veto it then it just proves that its all about the money with them.

I specifically remember them declining to allow Frans Botha boxing Fury even though at the time he would have been Furys biggest test... which was due to his age they said.

Im sure Tijuana who posts on here is younger than Briggs too.

It's not a fight I want to happen but I'm not sure about it getting vetoed. Skelton has boxed at a good years older and had been stopped more recently.

I'd like to see the media tearing this up for the arse paper it is but I'm not holding my breath

How much of a difference do you think Briggs' injury made against Vitali? Did it stop him moving his head? Did it make his feet as slow as they were? Would he have won the fight otherwise?
Briggs looked that bad against Klitschko as he was even then an old man, well past his best and was painfully slow. Nowt's improved there. Most thought he was pretty much done at the top level when he stopped Lyakhovich with a couple of seconds left to win his second world title - ten years ago.
Haye isn't a Klitschko and when Briggs was 27/28 and Haye was 30 they would have made a good match - it doesn't work like that though.
This, if it happens, will be a painful watch. I have no preference for either man but Briggs shouldn't be anywhere near a 'live' heavyweight who can punch for his own health these days
