Will this be a hard fight for Cornish tonight? If he beats Kamil Sokolowski where will that put him in line for any title fight, of any sort?

Also will someone be doing a RBR tonight?

Had a look at his opponent. Couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat! Hopefully he fights Shannon the cannon on the Burns card, assuming he's not named as Hayes opponent on Wed (which I reckon he will). I didn't actually realise he was fighting til today.

imo this fight should not be allowed. People moan about Briggs wanting to fight but this is a shameful opponent for Cornish. I know Cornish isnt exactly mike tyson but what is cornish expecting to learn from this? Terrible matchmaking imo. If Cornish was a big hitter the ban the boxing brigade would be following with interest. This opponent is only fit for a debutant and nothing more.

I can see Cornish being the same type of fodder for debutants if he keeps fighting.

If you actually look at the guys record he might not be too bad, he's fodder for up and coming decent fighters , in his last 3 he has a draw and two losses, one by 1 point and one by 2 points. I didn't see any of them but knowing how the game works he could have really won them all. Only guy to stop him wax Whyte in 3.

I've seen him fight live. He's actually tough and game and not a bad boxer.... Matched tough

Yeah that's what his record suggests, fought Dillion in his second fight he's got balls for sure, or at least his manager has.

Whilst I favour Cornish,I genuinely would not be surprised if Sokolowski won.... Can't find a price on bookies though!

Had a look on YouTube and it seems he's had quite a few fights on those Bigger is Better tournament shows and K1.

Couldn't agree more. I'm a Scot and I'd love to see Cornish do well but match making like this is inexuseable. He'd be better served getting the train to London and having a few hard soars over the weekend.

Should be fighting Allen, Towers, Sexton, Darch, or even the big lad fae Kent who I cannae mind right now

No I wasnt making a comparrison. The Drago comment passed me by tbh. But if Cornish cant put away someone of that calibre it sort of tells you where he is at, doesnt it? If that was AJ for example it would have been ober in seconds, not 18 minutes and still standing.
