Chris Eubank Jr

In a war with Blackwell. Both guys throwing bombs. Eubank opening up too much and expending too much energy IMO. He can outbox this guy easily and is selling out for a KO. Could be costly. Stupid gameplan.

CEJ can forget about the top level. He doesnt fight intelligently enough. Way too many wild exchanges. No conservation of energy. He needs a better trainer.

Those TV clowns had Eubank only by two points after 7 rounds
... and yes, Eubank's power is not sufficient to finish people quickly, so he needs to be more economical.
P.S. He can certainly beat Saunders in a rematch which would bring him on top level at least formally.

Eubank was way ahead in that fight, but he needs to pick his shots better against real fighters. More consistent workrate in each round with less 25 punch flurries. Slow down and compose yourself.

160 is a horrendous division so I guess it doesnt take much to be "top level" there. I'd like to see him fight Jacobs, Quillin or Lemiuex if not BJS again. Maybe Heiland. That's pretty much it for the division after GGG. Terrible division. Maybe Andy Lee?

Horrendous division ? Why haven't Cotto or Canelo fought anybody at 160 then ? Why aren't Lara, Andrade, Charlos moving up ? Why did Angulo lose to De La Rossa ?
MW is no worse than JMW or SMW.

MW is no worse than JMW or SMW.
Because they're not really middleweights. Especially Cotto.
Angulo is shot to hell.
Canelo is still very young. I think he goes to 160 as he ages. Charlo Bros are also young still. No need to move up yet when they havent conquered their own division. Same with Andrade.
Why would they move up? Why isnt GGG moving up? Guys want to fight at their natural weight class. They dont all trust their abilities like Andre Ward.

You know perfectly well that most of them are killing themselves to make 154 which is why they fight at catch-weight quite often. Canelo is not a MW ? 6'1" Andrade is not a MW ? Give me a break. They are bigger than Golovkin, Lemieux or Saunders.

Young guys are going to fight at the weight they can make. Why wouldn't they? It's easier to do when they're mid-20s. Would be foolish not to. Own the division you are in first. Then when you're in you're 30s and your body starts to change, challenge yourself and move up. Isn't that how it's supposed to work?

That is a right logic when a division above is equally strong. If MW was weak, they would've moved up.

Ur ate up....Ur smoking crack or his sick if u think middle is a top division or if u don't think ggg needs to move up. All he has is Canelo who was shut out by floyd. It's a good payday if and that's a big if he gets it.
All I know is the greats jumped divisions throughout the years I've been watching and I've been watching a long time.
Jacobs done been ko'd by Pirog
Lee done been beat up Chavez jr.
Guillen sucks
Blowjob SauNders isn't nothing special
Who do u want him to fight???

Chris Eubank jr is a F#CKING beast, he has the potential to be a world champion for a good amount of time. He just needs to take his time better and hone his skills.

Just thought i'd mention in this thread because I don't know how many of you frequent the B&I sub, that Nick Blackwell has a suspected bleed on the brain. I hope he comes through it and makes a full recovery.

Nick is in induced coma now so that bleeding in his brain could subside.
It appears that at some point, Eubank Sr told his son to mainly hit Blackwell in the body to avoid further damage which may have saved Nick's life:

I'm not sure Eubank Snr was being so angelic and humanitarian; he advised his son to go to the body as Blackwell could take the head shots.
I hope Nick is improving quickly and recovers completely though I imagine he will not be boxing again.

DeGale and Andre Dirrell are on different stratospheres from anyone GGG can face at 160. And thats fact.
