Great fight. Horrible first defence for whoever wins the vacant title.

But the winner of Briedis/Durodola vs Makabu/Bellew will be #1 cruiser in the world, IMHO

Bellew isn't among the world's top 10 cruisers, Huck would ruin him.

I didn't tell that he is in top 10, but if he win in fight vs Makabu, and after that in fight against Briedis/Durodola winner, he will be))) But I think that Makabu destroy him in their fight) And winner in fight Makabu vs Briedis/Durodola will be # 1 cruiser

I understood, Artem and still feel that Bellew is being promoted over his ability, we should see some pretty good scraps though; Durodola impressed me a few months ago, he'll take some stopping.

He also great fighter, but he still has to prove that he is #1. In any case this year promise to be very interesting and defining in cruiserweight:
- Lebedev vs Ramirez - in WBA & IBF unification
- Kalenga vs Dorticos - for WBA regular belt
- Makabu vs Bellew - for vacant WBC belt
- Briedis vs Durodola - in WBC eliminator
- Glowacki vs Cunningham
- Usyk title shot against Glowacki vs Cunningham winner
- McKenzie vs Kucher for EBU belt

Last year Briedis and Durodola both impressed me by their win over Charr and Kudryashov. Their fight promise to be really interesting)

Usyk is a very good fighter, I remember him from the London Olympics - he really stood out as one to watch.

I agree, I'm a big fan of him, but I want to see him in fight with stronger oppositions, but his promoter is to careful or greedy)

It seems quite a few boxers who win against the odds in Russia are found to have used PED's.

He certainly looked like he was using -- great punch resistance, outstanding stamina and inexhaustible energy.

I personally would love to see Dorticos vs Duradola. I have fought Dorticos and sparred Duradola a few times that would be a great match up IMO probably 2 of the best Crusierweights in the world

Another good CW fight :box:

Good to see the skilled Briedis finally getting this type of opportunity.

I doubt that he used some PEDs because of RUSADA reputation)

Get what you're saying but he was rocked badly at one point, and the fight only went one and a half rounds.

sparred durodola for the kudryashov fight and have done some with him for brides.
i said it before the fight that this guy hits extremely hard trust me on this. he's strong physically but nothing i cant handle its just his heavy hands.
he has stopped a few sparring partners for this camp.

lool at peds he trains here in Lagos nigeria in the dingiest of gyms he cannot afford much he barely afford to pay sparring partners uses local talent and uses me i am a working professional in the business wrk and i know how to box a bit no world championship sparring and i saw and have seen how hard he works trust me no pets that was nonsense he as good chin and he hits hard those r his attributes.
the brides fight is good one of them will get kid as briedis also seems to hit hard and is faster than durodola but however shorter so lets see.
i pry lane wins he works so hard an deserves good money for this. you can tell breeds is well supported by his nation .
here in nigeria nobody even knows who drugola is we just simply don't follow boxing . strange place
