How is this possible considering Broner has a warrant out on him for assault and armed robbery?
Not that I'm gonna watch either way, it's a complete joke of a matchup. I'm just curious as to how they are planning on making it happen.

I am curious as well since the venue is about 200 yards from my house. I don't know if I would watch it on tv but if I can grab a ticket for $20 I would walk down and watch.

I guess he could fight if he were out on bail, but he hasn't turned himself in yet and the fight is 4 days away. It's a pretty bizarre situation.

Adrien Broner vs. Ashley Theophane fighter media workouts were cancelled on Tuesday in Washington, D.C., due to the delayed arrival of flights out of Las Vegas. We’ve been told the remaining fight week activities will go on as scheduled, starting with today’s final press conference. It was also confirmed that Floyd Mayweather WILL attend the press conference, which will the first meeting between Broner and Mayweather since Broner’s wild rant against Floyd last week.
In other Broner news, according to the Washington Post there is no threat of D.C. police arresting Broner for an outstanding felony warrant issued in his home state of Ohio. So the Spike TV-televised bout looks to be a go.

So basically, the fight is happening because the DC police don't consider the warrant serious enough to arrest him and extradite him to Ohio? And he'll get arrested when he goes home after the fight? Crazy.
