Does anyone know what weight they're fighting at? With Macklin moving down to light middle and Rose moving up seems a strange time to make the fight
I heard it's being boxed at middlecraigjenkins05 wrote:Does anyone know what weight they're fighting at? With Macklin moving down to light middle and Rose moving up seems a strange time to make the fight
Sadly I don't think Macklin is half his former best. I'd like him to win but I can't see past Rose.craigjenkins05 wrote:I don't rate rose if Macklin is half his former best he should win this I hope
Really shouldn't be with his gym and its backers.Wales wrote:Is it harsh to say Macklin cuts a sad figure who looks to be fighting on through necessity.
I think Rose in a good scrap. His rematch with Carson Jones was great funpyenest77 wrote:Agree rose wins in a stinker.
Are you for real? Brian has been boxing since 11, record of 95 fights 10 losses, countless England vests. Lonsdale Belt outright winner.Wales wrote:Fight is at middle. I pick Rose, thats down to how bad Macklin has gone as appose to how good Rose is.
Dont rate Rose tbh. Done really well for himself, genuine example of hard work beats talent when talent doesnt work hard

One of the most naturally talented boxers Ive ever seen.
Rose is a solid domestic fighter. Probably slots somewhere inbetween domestic/European and world level. Never been his biggest fan but I think he'll have too much for Macklin.gmanji wrote:Are you for real? Brian has been boxing since 11, record of 95 fights 10 losses, countless England vests. You can't have seen many fighters then.gmanji wrote:Are you for real? Brian has been boxing since 11, record of 95 fights 10 losses, countless England vests. what, Hard Man Eddie? no chance.Floyd the snake wrote:Wonder if his manager/backers have turned up this week ? bet Eddies' been caking it all week, looked a few more security guards than normal at the press conference.
I think he'll go for it early then run out of steam. He'd have obviously watched the first Jones fight and fancies he can do a similar job. I'm sure Rose will be expecting an early onslaught though.Furey wrote:Would like to see Macklin roll back the years, hasn't looked on the ball for a good while now... make or break.
