PBC Broner Card

Gervonta Davis a nice prospect.
JLeon Love knows off another cab driver. His career is as awful as Mickey Bey's right now. Please have these guys fight someone.
Anthony Peterson stays on the bum of the month tour. He was not impressive. They haven't bothered to step him up against since Brandon Rios ran him off.
Robert Easter has some good skills. But he's so much bigger than the guys at his weight I wonder if that has a lot of do with it.

Somebody please drag Theophane back across the pond. He stinks.

Terrible stoppage. I had it even after 8 rounds. Broner had given away all the rounds he lost, but that's half the fight through 8. Theophane got screwed by the referee there. He was still very much in the fight.

Lost my over 8.5 rounds bet because the ref missed 2-3 blatant low blows. Then stops the fight because Theophane was trying to tell him about the low blow. F*cking asshole.

From sherdog, the MMA site:
"Broner landed a nasty left uppercut to the groin. When Theonphane stumbled away, he motioned to Pabon that he was hit low, but the ref mistook it for him looking for him to be rescued."

That's why you never turn and complain to the ref. Just fight.

I did not agree with that stoppage. Theophane was waving his arm to complain about the low blow, Ref misread it and thought Theophane wanted the fight stopped. Theophane was progressively getting better and landing more each round while Broner's punching output was diminishing. Credit to Theophane for eluding and clinching Broner when he got tagged. I wish the fight had done.

I hated the stoppage to, but Theophane looking to the referee to complain brought it on himself. He should've just hit Broner low back.

As I typed, everyone posted posts pretty much what I was talking about.

Broner hit him low at least 2 other times in the exchange. Watch the replay. Intentional.

I totally understand why the ref stopped the fight. Theophane created the stoppage with that reaction. Theophane should have either sold the low blow or just kept on fighting and not complained.

When you're hurt like Theophane was you're not exactly thinking clearly. He was somewhat hurt.

If he sells the low blow the ref probably stops the fight. Either way he's screwed.
