No, never buy PPV's. Already pay for Sky Sports and allegedly. They are rarely worth it anyway.

Yeah I'll buy it. Only way I'll get to see it as I'm in with the kids most weekends. Not the best undercard but I'm looking forward to a night of boxing and the main event will be interesting.

For me, the last few PPVs have all been rubbish. Over the last 12 months, I've only bought the ones I had high expectations for (Mayweather vs Pacquiao, Fury vs Klitschko, Quigg vs Frampton), and I've regretted buying every single one. No way I'm adding to that list, I'm done with PPV.

Of course. £15 is a cheap night in for a Saturday night.

If I had Sky I'd probably buy it. But Sky is about a grand a year now, and I only watch boxing, so I don't bother. I'm happy with BN of Freeview. That's value for money.

It's a no from me as well on this occasion. I'm at the rugby in the day and going straight from that to a christening party after that

Sadly I'll probably end up buying it just because I'm at the football in the day so if I buy it I'll go home nice and sensible if I don't I'll end up on it till 3am in the morning and waste a shit load more money!

I may do. Undercards not bad, and if I'm still feeling Ill, I can treat myself to a Ruby, a bottle of wine, and the fight, and only spend 30 quid, which is good going.

Haha, that sounds a familiar tale. I went to play pool last Saturday, nice gentle afternoon, after 3 large Jamesons, and 2 pints of Cider, I ended up being thrown out of a bar after getting caught up to no good in the Khazi.

All in all, spent 130 quid, and ended up getting to sleep at 5.00 a.m and ruined all my plans for sunday, plus the bonus of prolonging a chest infection.

I'm glad to find excuses not to go out these days.

Haha I'm the same. I had a very similar fail Saturday myself only popped out to show my face at a party, ended in some random as fornicate pub till 3am (had to enter through the back door and from behind the bar after dropping a few names I know that way) where you wouldn't have gotten thrown out for anything! Ha.......dodgy house music getting blasted out, everyone off their faces and box-nation on the tellys!!

This place sounds great, I need to know it's location.

.....on second thoughts, that is the last thing I need.

I used to have Brixton's legendary lock in spot the queen's head, literally 1 minute walk from my front door, it never used to get going until about midnight - I knew people who had slept there three nights in a row, getting bang on it each night.

I once wandered in at 11.00 p.m on a Wednesday, a lock in started, and at 4.00 a.m asked the landlord to unlock the door and let me out.

This was refused, and I was then informed to get back to the bar at once. I finally left at 11.30 a.m, utterly banjaxed, having left an unintelligible message to my boss at work explaining how sick I was.

Oh those were the days. The new management there have destroyed the pub, it's got net curtains and jenga, I sometimes pine for the old days.
