Which was the strongest decade?

Few threads recently on fighters of the decade but which was the strongest decade? One way to do it would be to pick the best of each division and match them up perhaps? the 70s looks strong to me - which team would come out on top all time? I bet the 20s and 40s would be strong too!
1970s
Ali
Foster
Monzon
Napoles
Duran
Arguello
Zarate
Canto

1940s
Joe Loius
Ezzard Charles
Archie Moore
Sugar Ray Robinson
Henry Armstrong
Willie Pep
Manuel Ortiz
Jackie Patterson
You have arguably 1 and 2 ATG plus another 4 guys that would make most peoples top ten.
Kind of cheating to shoe horn in ATGs here.
Ezzards is probably best remembered for achievements at heavy, but he can't go ahead of Loius. If he's at LHW Moore needs to go to Middle, not his strongest weight.
Equally SRR goes to WW then Armstrong needs to be recognised as a Lightweight (which is no great issue as he was known for that weight.)
All in I don't think the 40s can be topped. Particularly when you consider who was left out.
Saddler, Williams, Montgomery, Jack, Angot, Gavilan, La Motta, Zale, Graziano, Cerdan, Bivins, Johnson, Maxim, Walcott, the entire murderers row

Strong line up!
Weakened by the fact you've limited it to one per division.
Heavyweights alone would make for a strong decade.

Of course a few of these might be up for debate
Dempsey vs Joe Louis - Louis 40s
Tunney vs Ezzard Charles - Charles 40s
Greb vs Archie Moore - Greb 20
Walker vs Sugar Ray Robinson -SRR 40s
Leonard vs Henry Armstrong - Armstrong 40s
Chocolate vs Willie Pep - Pep 40s
Brown vs Manuel Ortiz - Brown 20s
Villa vs Jackie Patterson - Villa 20s
I've got it 5-3 to the 40s but there's probably only 5 of those results I'm fairly sure on, Joe Louis, Greb, SRR, Pep and Panama Al Brown.
