What they are doing is getting Barrera to fight all of the potential opponents for GGG so they can study them to see weaknesses that GGG can possibly exploit.
I remember DLH wouldn't fight a certain fighter until Mosley had fought them or vice versa. They (Oscar and Shane) both used this strategy for one another's bouts, all you have to do is go and look and you'll see that as soon as Shane fought someone then Oscar would fight them next or vice versa.
GGG's corner appears scared if this is the case, why not just face Lara himself (GGG) if he's willing to go down for Floyd at 154 then he should face Lara who is a real Jr MW, not one who has to come up to 154 like Floyd.
