in recent weeks there was one or the other
thread on how things deteriorate. too few
people posting in history, too many idiots
in CS.
i don't share that. i feel like this is a small
club somewhere near the coast. not a fancy
place, but some old wooden furniture, a
good collection of teas and single malts in
the backroom and near the bar a place for
the young kids with a TV screen and a 21
year old with a sometimes tight t-shirt as a
waitress. she knows how to keep the boys off
balance and can land a punch if she has to.
and yes, sometimes the kids get drunk and
the oldies from the backroom shake their
heads. it's not a crowded place, but once
you are in, it's hard to imagine going some
other place.
