Fury-Klitschko rematch announced!

Set for July 9th in Manchester. Will the outcome be any different this time?
Wladimir is WAY better than Ruiz. He actually has talent. He holds a lot yes, but the similarities end there.Undefeated49-0 wrote:Why would anyone want to see this garbage fight again, two boring and non-skilled HWs hurling blows with no intent to really win or hurt the other then only to come together in a slow dance waltz that puts everyone to sleep.
Klitschko is the modern day John HuggaBoxer Ruiz.
Really, could've fooled me in that fight with Fury.gilgamesh wrote:Wladimir is WAY better than Ruiz. He actually has talent. With his legacy on the line he should do.gilgamesh wrote:I hope Wladimir fights this time. I'll be rooting for him. If he just comes in and stands around again I'll be disgusted.
You saw a lot of holding in that fight? I saw a lot of standing around and doing jack sh*t.Undefeated49-0 wrote:Really, could've fooled me in that fight with Fury.gilgamesh wrote:Wladimir is WAY better than Ruiz. He actually has talent. So you are basing it on one fight?Undefeated49-0 wrote:Really, could've fooled me in that fight with Fury.gilgamesh wrote:Wladimir is WAY better than Ruiz. He actually has talent. Maybe to you but unlike you, that doesn't bother me. All i know is that Klits was boring as hell and I wouldn't want to see a replay of that snorefest again.Baby Face Finster wrote:So you are basing it on one fight?Undefeated49-0 wrote:Really, could've fooled me in that fight with Fury.gilgamesh wrote:

Let's see. I recall Floyd holding like an octopus against Castillo anytime he got near him. The same thing seemed to have happened in the Maidana fights. Floyd therefore must have been a smaller John Huggy Bear Ruiz.
The thing that pissed me off most with the 2nd Mayweather-Maidana fight is there were a few times Kenny Bayless got in there and split 'em up as if they were in a clinch when all they were was fighting in close. Basically Bayless would separate them anytime Maidana got into punching range, whether they were clinched or not. I always thought Bayless was one of the best referees in the sport, and still do, but his officiating in that fight was pretty fishy.Baby Face Finster wrote:

Is that Floyd's fault though that Bayless did that? As I recall Bayless has always been quick to break fighters apart when they get close.gilgamesh wrote:The thing that pissed me off most with the 2nd Mayweather-Maidana fight is there were a few times Kenny Bayless got in there and split 'em up as if they were in a clinch when all they were was fighting in close. Wladimir will need to at least be aggressive enough that it looks like he intends to fight if he wants to win. Last time he did absolutely nothing. It was the most pathetic non-effort I've ever seen from a defending Champion, and single handedly dropped him 5 or 6 notches in the All Time Heavyweight standings IMO.geronimo wrote:For me Fury will be winning again. If W. Klitschko will try to be more aggressive, he could lose way KO. Just my opinion.
I didn't say it was Floyd's fault necessarily, but I never saw Bayless do those kinda favors for anyone else.Undefeated49-0 wrote:Is that Floyd's fault though that Bayless did that? Then you weren't paying attention to the other fights he's ref'd.gilgamesh wrote:I didn't say it was Floyd's fault necessarily, but I never saw Bayless do those kinda favors for anyone else.Undefeated49-0 wrote:Is that Floyd's fault though that Bayless did that? I always pay attention. Breaking guys up in a clinch quickly is not the same thing as breaking them up when both fighters have both hands free. Bayless never did that in any other fight that I've seen.Undefeated49-0 wrote:Then you weren't paying attention to the other fights he's ref'd.gilgamesh wrote:I didn't say it was Floyd's fault necessarily, but I never saw Bayless do those kinda favors for anyone else.Undefeated49-0 wrote:

I agree that Floyd doesn't always go out enough to finish his opponents but that doesn't mean he isn't trying to catch them, Klits just absolutely did nothing but throw one shot, then hug, rinse and repeat.Baby Face Finster wrote:Undefeated49-0 wrote:Maybe to you but unlike you, that doesn't bother me. And to me Mayweather post the Mosley fight has been boring as hell. Completely risk adverse with no killer instinct when he stunned his opponents. That to me is just as boring as what Wladimir did. No difference whatsoever. They are both boring, Klitscho after the Brewster fight and Floyd after Mosley fight.
Same thing in the Hatton fight where Cortez "i'm firm but i'm fair(especially to Floyd)" kept breaking it up, Hatton does his best work on the inside and even HBO had him ahead after 6 rounds then Cortez just ruined that fight by breaking it up every time Hatton got inside (remember Ricky bending over and showing his arse to them both because he knew he was getting fvcked).gilgamesh wrote:The thing that pissed me off most with the 2nd Mayweather-Maidana fight is there were a few times Kenny Bayless got in there and split 'em up as if they were in a clinch when all they were was fighting in close.
