Looked frightened to commit. Probably AJs easiest fight. At least he knew he was in a fight when he fought Dillian White. Martin wouldn't make a sparring partner for AJ.

Was thinking of this yesterday before the fight. It must be one of the best pieces of business/career guidance there has ever been! The guy can retire comfortable in his twenties without having taken too much punishment and without having any real talent (to merit that pay). He's onto a winner. There's been far more deserving guys that wouldn't have earned a fraction on his wage last night in their whole careers but that's our sport! Never fair.

These American yahoo heavyweights have a long history of haemorrhaging their money. Wouldn't surprise me if Martin is broke by the end of the year.

Douglas was a very good, seasoned and experienced fighter who came from cast iron fighting stock in his old man, Billy Douglas. He was well schooled in the sport but his heart and desire were in question throughout his career but he did have some good names on his resume with wins and losses which showed how good he could be, as well as that weakness as he fought Tony Tucker, Oliver McCall, Greg Page, Mike White, Jesse Ferguson, Tex Cobb, a debuting David Bey, Steffan Tungsted (who fought Spinks for this same IBF title), Mike Williams (Union Cane from Rocky 5 I think ), then Douglas beat the unified, seemingly unbeatable Mike Tyson in one of the most famous fights and biggest upsets in the history of the sport. Douglas was always considered a guy who shoulda, coulda, woulda until he put it all together against an admittedly out of sorts Tyson (but that version of Tyson probably still beats every active HW in this current year).
