How can anyone believe that Joshua beats Fury?

Those retarded casuals who believe in this hype oh my godness.

Martin is not even top 40 boxer. Even Firtha would beat him rofl xD

This fight showed notting about Joshua. He fought better guys in the past.

He still fights like a novice boxer with no jab , no head movent and shitty footwork and you folks believe that he beats Fury rofl? Based on this fight?

Not convinced he would, but you've not really made a case he wouldn't either. Can we get your analysis so this is more than just a load of "nuh uh", insults, and vague assertions, maybe timestamped videos or gifs to back it up.

I would definitely favor Fury over Joshua right now, but it doesn't change the fact that you are by far the worst and the least intelligent user of this forum.

I don't believe Joshua would beat Fury.

Fury would frustrate Joshua IMO.

Anthony would be an ever present danger due to his massive power, but he's slower & less mobile than Fury, plus I don't think he's quite ready.

Joshua is extremely lucky that Charles Martin landed on his doorstep as quite literally one of the worst HW trinket holders there has ever been.

Joshua vs. Fury is a great matchup. I'm not sure who would win.

I hope it happens in 2017.

Watching Fury get flawed by Cunningham is a decent reason.
It's easy to see past Fury's flaws if you're just looking to bash Joshua.

Anyone with a clue knows Fury will try to "Wlad" Joshua. Which is to, you know, take all of the fight out of the fight, make it an absolute stinker, get on his bike for 12 rounds, just pop jabs, and hold on the inside. Ya know, the stuff Fury bashed Wlad for doing for 10 yrs.

Sounds about right diddy. Joshua is aforce no doubt and the division is now alive.

Fury would outsmart him just now but in a year or two once Joshua has more experience then it would probably be different as his athletcism is miles superior to Fury's and Fury has glaring deficiencies which are being overlooked because he scrambled his way to the title.

Cunningham flattened Fury. This is Heavyweight boxing. Joshua and Wilder are bang average imo but they have enough power to end a fight with one clean shot.

But hey, we have an exciting HW division right now :TU:

Well, I'm far from a "retarded casual" fan & I'm not only convinced that Joshua would beat Fury, but I think he'd do it inside of three or four rounds tops.
Though IMO it won't be Joshua challenging for Fury's belts, but Fury attempting to win Joshua's because I think Klitschko lets his hands go this time & regains the World Championship in Manchester come July.

Obvious statement of the evening - If AJ lands he can finish him.

But at present I don't see the boxing ability in AJ to land many flush punches on Fury.

But I do certainly think he is learning as he goes. But he needs to start testing himself now and this belt gives him that opportunity.
Heavyweights will be lining up for the AJ payday.
He can choose to pick the lowest risk/highest reward opponents or he can choose the fights that will test him, challenge him and teach him what he needs to know to deliver those powerful punches he has in abundance.

He needs someone that will go rounds,m someone that will make him miss, so he has to work for opportunities and he has to fight someone good enough coming back at him so he has to think about more than just how to load up that finishing right hand.

If and when he picks up those skills, which I don't doubt he can in the next 18-24 months, he can get to Fury and hurt him.

If he keeps picking easy fights and relying on his power to win him fights Fury will always be favourite to outbox him. IMO

If I read that on here 1 more time I think I might cry

it must be the most used line in boxing forum history

Only if they had internet forums in the 60's and 70s, could they have outdone it with the old "Ali's rubbish, Henry Cooper knocked him over"

Fury clowns him. It won't even be close.

The casuals on my facebook feed sucking off AJ. You'd have thought he'd gone back in time and KO'd prime Ali the way they're carrying on.

Pajnic? Or whatever his name is. Fact is Fury chin is suspect.

One minute you say Joshua is hardest puncher in heavyweight division, the next you ask how anyone can believe he beats Tyson Fury?

Is it crazy to give the hardest puncher on the planet, your words not mine, a chance against Fury?
conty22 wrote: 1-2 Wilder or Joshua - I see them both as very powerfull . Wilder has better one KO punch power , but Joshua has more powerfull combinations and inside game
3- Ortiz
4- Past prime Wlad
5-Haye

What's your top 5 of hardest punchers?

Cunningham only floored fury because fury had no respect for cunninghams punch power fury would completely different for joshua and would try to frustrate aj especially switching styles.

Joshua has a reasonable jab and hits bloody hard. Fury likes to clown and take time off. I'm not really sure who is more hyped, fury or Joshua, but I know Joshua would be a very live challenger for fury,,,that said I am not sure fury will have a belt to protect after his rematch with wlad.

Because he will, easily.fury has size and balls, that's enough to upset wlad. Joshua will not passively sit by for that subpar 'boxing'. I like Tyson, but he lacks rudimentary skills, just caught the pussy at the right time and place.

I agree but the bottom line is if he got tagged he'd be out.

Tbh i don't much rate Povetkin, Joshua, Fury or Wilder and wouldn't give any of them a chance against either Klitchko brother of 4 or 5 year ago.

I think Joshua would beat Fury, but it is a close call. I don't consider myself a retarded casual as I make a living in the sport.

This. People really love to place a lot of meaning on Fury outpointing a lumbering statue.

I dunno. Maybe some people are secretly terrified of how badly Joshua crushing Fury will reflect on Wlad and his 'reign', the idea that this past 10 pointless years of the heavyweight division will be exposed as somewhat illegitimate in one fell swoop.

The thing is, Fury was able to look all nice with his movement in the Wlad fight because there was nothing coming back. Some think Wlad's volume problem was directly because of Fury's subtle moves. I believe it was because of the low-output stiff robot across from him who has always been terrified to commit without the chance of a good cuddle immediately afterwards. Maybe I can concede that it might have been a teensy bit of both. What's for sure is that Joshua will take the fight to Fury in a vicious manner because he has clear offensive tools to get the job done. History has shown that Fury's chin has troubles with such onslaught.

It's important for folk to understand Tyson Fury hasn't turned immortal just because he has claimed the world championship from a weak holder. He's still the same lumbering goon with a ton of heart but not much else. AJ has passed the chin test. Fury never passed the defence test. A Joshua at 80 per cent of his eventual capabilities would take care of him if they fought this year, or next.

Fury would be dumbfounded by Joshua's power, speed, punch picking and volume. Fury won't turn into Willie Pep overnight in the face of that artillery, no matter how much inaction he had to pretend to show defensive skills against in his last fight.

No it isn't, Fury has shown he can fight for far longer

How do you know that? We've never seen how he handles someone keeping him at range, never seen him get hit and hit and hit. Wlad's upper body movement is far superior, and he's had more experience fighting bigger people. That's why Fury is the favourite, Joshua may have the assets to beat Fury, but he'snot displayed them.

As Atheletes they are incomparable. AJ is far quicker, far stronger and far more powerful. Fury has shown he can fight for 12 rounds but he doesn't fit anywhere near the intensity of AJ. AJ'd natural reflexes and reactions are also far superior.

However, Fury has far superior ring smarts and experience which is a massive factor. But fury is far from a great fighter- neither is AJ but he had the potential to be shaped into one.
