What’s the Hampden roar with this guy please?
I see he scored a KO4 over Evgeny Gradovich last night, who I thought was a top fighter.

Valdez looks a very good heavy handed operator.

Valdez impressed me the most last night. Heavy hands and good technique. I reckon he is a future P4P fighter.

Nah....few Trainspotting fans and that’s about it I think. I thought it would confuse people here.

Not when there's Falkirk boys roaming the forum.

He looked very impressive sat night. would give all the Featherweight champions problems at this moment I feel apart from Loma.

He beat a shot Gravovich, guy has fell apart since the Selby fight.
Valdez is still good though but lets not get ahead of ourselves here.

Valdez is very talented, but I think Gradovich isn't top-10 or probably even top-20 featherweight in the world now. Going from Gradovich to the guys like Lomachenko or Russell would be a huge step up for Valdez, but against guy like Selby he would have had a good chance to win.

Gradovich was a solid fighter a few years ago but he's definitely on the slide now. Saying that, Valdez looks a serious prospect, good speed and power, impressive variety and used angles well. Will definitely do some damage at featherweight. 126 is one of the best divisions in the sport right now, Lomachenko, Russell jr, Selby, Santa Cruz, Mares, Valdez, possibly Walters and looks like Frampton might move up.
