Was Fast Car on the wind up for AJ's next fight being on the 9 July?

What do people think of two world heavyweight contests in Manchester and London on one night?

It would be silly and harm both shows and fans.

If it does happen and it's Wembley, then surely the only opponent that could help him fill Wembley would be David Haye.

I like Fury, Haye and Joshua, but if it's a choice between the Fury-Klit rematch and Haye-Joshua, I'll buy tickets for the latter.

I'm sure you wouldn't be alone , after the first Fury-Klit showing , who in their right mind would put themselves through that again ?

Not sure how "attached" Fury is to elsewhere to prevent working with matchroom
Joshua vs a low level first defence wouldnt sell big, but on the same show as Fury Klitschko.... maybe sells out wembley when neither fight would alone

Not a chance in the world mate. The interesting thing about it is the PPV element. Frank and Mick are trying to make the Fury-Klitschko rematch a PPV event through SKY's red buttton. Presumably if Joshua-TBA is PPV on the same date, SKY will show that on PPV and not Fury.

Nothing is set in stone for AJ on this date.

No way is he fighting Haye then.

Fast Eddie on the wind up in my opinion.

He will be maximising the Joshua PPV revenue not putting him against a rival PPV.

It's bad business and we know Eddie is all about the business.

The rematch will be completely different from the first bout though. Klitschko has to go all out. Last Chance Saloon & all that.

That's so true and should make for a better fight this time around cos Klitschko was truly awful , maybe down to Fury being that good but i'm sure things were not right with him that night .

Hearn had Wembley pre booked for Joshua for the 9th,team Fury know that but they have got the drop on Hearn with there announcement so Hearn should and will change his plans,he not going to risk Ppv buys and really they should forget about Wembley until the real big fights.

Judging from his interview with Kugan, Hearn will go with another date. There'll be plenty of other opportunites to have AJ at Wembley.

Would be moronic in the extreme to go same night as Fury.

It's got to such a point that we all know shows will get cancelled/postponed if certain people are promoting and tickets sales are poor.

If Sky Sports did choose to schedule a ppv card for 9 July, I think BN would pull their show.

I think Fury will stop Klitschko this time. Wlad has to go for it & will leave himself open to sharp counters from the Gypsy King.

If Hearn goes ahead with this it just shows its all about his ego, does neither show any good at all. What about fans who might want to go to/watch both?

Was plenty of articles around the same weekend of Mathews/Flannagan that both Dickens and Farrag would fight for european titles at the echo on that date so while they might not have confirmed it oficially it was obviously all booked. Hence I don't think its FW choosing to go up against a stadium fight in the same city its the other way round. In fact I don't think Matchroom have officially confirmed Goodsison for that date have they?

I can't see how Bellew-Makubu fills a stadium. Matchroom are completely over-estimating Bellews popularity.
It will be a great fight in the Echo and that's where I think the fight will end up.
