Starting with the Heavyweight Division, before we move on down. But try to keep in mind what constitutes a fight deserving consideration. How Formidable was the opponent ? How decisive was the victory over that opponent. For the Heavyweights the two that most often come to mind for me are.

Muhammad Ali K0 8 George Foreman 1974
George Foreman TK0 2 Joe Frazier 1973

Also deserving of consideration

Buster Douglas K0 10 Mike Tyson 1990

Not even close to the Rumble In The Jungle. Foreman had just brutally disposed of Frazier, Roman, and Norton in less than 5 rds total when he was vanquished by Ali inside of 8.

Frazier over Ali would be my #1 for sure.

Bowe and Holyfield's victories in the first two fights have to be up there too.

Let's do Heavyweights first guys. I'd like to do every single division in boxing one at a time.

The more I think about it Ade, Oliver McCall's 2nd rd TKO over Lennox Lewis keeps sounding better. A second rd stoppage of guy who had handed Gary Mason his 1st defeat, annihilated Razor Ruddock, dominated a 48-1 Tony Tucker, and stopped Frank Bruno. That's a damn good scalp !

Frazier v Ali.

Am sure there are better runners up but just off top of my head.

Langford v Gans.
Basillio vs Robinson.
Leonard v Hearns.
Greb v Tunney.
Duran v Leonard.

Come on! Pre-Srteward Lewis was like 30% of Lennox who was trained by Manny. I can't imagine Frank Bruno outboxing and outjabbing Lewis of 1996-2002 (or even 2003 version) for 6 rounds. I can't imagine Phil Jackson going more than 2 rounds against 1996-2003 version of Lewis. Lennox improved in every single department (besides speed) under Stewart's tutelage, escpecially his jab, his defense and his balance. So Rahman cleanly knocking out much better version of Lewis is clearly bigger achievement than McCall's TKO2 win.

Lewis was flabby, out of shape, 35 and unfocused for Rahman I. Not saying that it's not a good win, just isn't on the level of being great.

We are still just doing heavyweights right?

Those might be my top 3 as well.

After that several that were pretty good:
Louis-Schmeling II
Patterson-Moore
Liston-Patterson I
Liston-Patterson II
Clay-Liston I
Frazier-Ali I
Foreman-Norton
Ali-Frazier II
Ali-Frazier III
Tyson-Berbick
Lewis-Ruddock

Even though they were close fights, the first two Bowe-Holyfield fights, and Holmes-Norton because they were such great fights.

Sorry pal, but the FOTC clearly stands alone at the top.

Nice try, though. :TU:

Aside from the ones mentioned already. Sugar Ray Leonard TKO 14 Thomas Hearns certainly qualifies

It was absolutely remarkable how Frazier kept getting up and up from some murderous shots.

What a warrior! He went out on his shield.

Ali hadn't looked his sharpest in his wins over Quarry and Bonavena after his return from a layoff of over 3 and a half years. Not saying it wasn't a great win for Frazier, but I'll take Ali's KO of Foreman in Kinshasa anyday. People thought Foreman was unbeatable coming in and that he was going to destroy Ali based on the what he did to the two guys that had beaten him, but as we know, it didn't turn out that way.
