Not sure how many have been following this chap, now officially 13-0 (13), but he's racking up some credible stoppages now.
Yesterday he stopped George Arias in 2 rounds, giving him his first stoppage loss in over a decade. Not impressive by it's self but Takam, Boytsov, Hughie Fury and Pulev couldn't see him off in recent years.
Also stopped Gavern and Shawn Cox and seems like his team want to move him towards rankings do a regional titles.
Given his age they'll have to move fast but could be worth following, his power at least seems legit
Note-Apparently some of his bouts haven't been recorded

I think his ceiling is pretty low. He's a fat guy in his mid-30s with no amateur experience that I can find.
He's actually exposing a real weakness in the BoxRec ratings, considering he's managed to get ranked as the #33 HW despite having fought nobody better than Shawn Cox. I think the BoxRec system gives too many points for KOs of very poor opponents.

You get people who are good a knocking people out but can't deal with anyone tricky. I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of them. Plus other than a 23 year who's never had another fight the youngest known age of his opponents is 37.
BTW here's footage of him fighting.

What the hell was the ring side doctor doing? You can't have the ring side doctor performing a procedure on the fighter. His job is to diagnose whether the fighter can continue or not. Not impressed in the least with Zhang.

The good thing is he is helping to popularize boxing in China.

He was a decent amateur apparently, came close to qualification for the 2004 Olympics. The Strefa site has his name as Zhang Yunlong

I only knew him thanks to his numbers, I've never actually seen him fighting. This is the first footage I see of him and he seems like the Chinese Chagaev. The whole Chinese heavyweight division shows quite impressive numbers btw.
