Nothing like the impulsiveness and rawness of Fury's tweets. Gems this week since the AJ fight:

"So AJ gets a belt, looked slow ponderous, & still looked like a bodybuilder, let me slay the lamb"

"@klitschko I see u being a little bitch blowing off AJ, u little wet pussy! I'm knocking your head off in July"

Retweet: "Great performance from AJ but in my eyes he's not number 1 until he beats @Tyson_Fury that ibf belt getting passed round like a cheap hooka"

"I love slaughtering little bitches with big muscles, wonder who I'm talking about?"
Image

"@NigelGBenn so u only side with other black fighters? Tut tut"

"@EddieHearn so u be happy if I kid turned out like AJ ? Lol if he did u better have a word with the MRS."

Retweet: "AJ.convicted drug dealer. Yeah proper champ!!"

"I'm a really bad character, I once got a speeding fine!!!!!!!!!! I say fornicate you a lot. Lol"

AJ was a drug dealer, that is true. I believe in second chances and he is an example channeling your energies into something positive so it is hard to hold it against him. However when being interviewed by Kugan, you can see an element of the street dealer that he used to be. It is not as far away from the surface as the team likes to make out.

How? By acting like a phony?

Just another boring sportsperson acting like a politician?

No, thanks.

Kinda with Horse on this one tbh. Who wants another faceless, media trained robot. Lets leave that to Formula one

Proper character, wasted plenty of time watching him rattle on in interviews on you tube, always puts a smile on my face.
More importantly this guy is the number 1
I saw a vid last night at a q&a session, comedy gold!

Fair enough, however intimating that Nigel Benn is racist (or only favours black fighters) is a little off the mark for me.
Sure, I do not agree with his actual content most of the time, but I like the personality or how he does not act media trained.

What did Benn tweet to bring about that response?
Might put it into context?

I can see Fury being hurt by Nigel's comments, I would be. Fury definitely hasn't received the credit he deserves for the way he dealt with Wlad. Most of that stems from people not having the balls to admit they were wrong. They're underwriting their crwppy pick by saying Wlad is shot and what not. Even though I've always liked Fury I picked Wlad big, bad call, Tyson boxed amazingly well, it might not have been pretty but he outsmarted the Dr. None of the other 'champions' could do that.

It might have been this. He's actually not the only one I've seen say that.

He does come across as a bit of a Black nationalist there.

You are right there Horse. I'm sure Nigel is no racist, but he does name Wilder as the man of the division and when asked if he really believed that he answered with "Am I black", and earlier in the interview he described AJ as an "articulated good looking black fighter". If any white guy described any white champion as a "articulate, good looking white fighter", he would come in for more than a little criticism. Furys question to Benn, which was likely tongue in cheek, was actually spot on.

In these days of media trained athletes, fury is a refreshing breath of fresh air. I love the fact he's controversial, original and rubs the PC crowd up the wrong way. We should be happy we don't have a yes man as heavyweight champ

I need to see this interview, anyone got a link, I'll try and have a look round now.

Fury is clearly the best heavyweight on the planet. The fact that he is white is just a bonus.

I've never liked that clip, it shows a man at the end of his tether having tried to intimidate a man and seeing no fear, and knowing he simply no longer has the tools to beat him. Tyson is scared there, add to that the all round fornicating he's getting from his entourage and so called management and promoter.

Was he not off his nut on Charlie there? I read his book a couple of years ago and I'm sure he mentioned something about that.
