Anybody know if the Namibian kid made the weight at the second time of asking, I know he was 1.8lb over first time courtesy of IFL but nothing heard since, not sure if it's still for the Commonwealth or not really, quite a bit of weight to shift for a 140lb fighter. Hoping they might have the situation of at least Ryan winning the belt if he wins even if the other guy can't win if he does. Ryan deserves a bit of luck.

Anyone on here who can find out I would be greatly obliged lads.

Why has the Commonwealth title been vacated?

This sort of nonsense cheapens the title even further.

Haven't heard anything however it may be a case it goes ahead either as a fight where the title is only on the line for Dave Ryan or a non-title fight. Ultimately up to Ryan's camp and the commision and the board.

When there's no footage of a guy in this day and age, wherever he's from, I smell a rat. Ryan by stoppage in under four rounds.

Yes, they put him straight back in as mandatory, probably because of the injury in the last fight.

Haikali only managed to get down to 10.1 so title on the line for Ryan only.

Going by Matchrooms page,Ryan/Haikali isnt being shown,Martin J Ward instead,might be wrong though,i hope i am

Thats bollox,i'd much rather see Ryan regain his old Commonwealth belt,Ward's a good fighter but more than one of his fights have bored me,Eddie and Sky belittling titles again

He gets no luck this lad, he is now hoping to fight on the Crolla card May 7th apparently, lets hope they get him someone who makes the weight and has no infections, he deserves his crack at the belt again.

It's a 3.5 hour show.

Why on earth couldn't they have shown all of the major fights?

Are they going to blather on about how great AJ is for over an hour instead?

Looked dodgy that. The guy didn't even look like he'd trained. Did anybody see his passport and did it have the same name on it as the guy who was meant to be fighting.

Hopefully he is in a good fight on that card I am going but not a single undercard fight has been announced
