Sturm will be getting a minimum of two years, I should imagine, using a form of testosterone.
Browne may be able to defend himself successfully on the premise that he tested negative in a pre-fight test, clenbuteral is not a performance enhancing drug for a twelve round heavyweight fight, in fact, it's performance inhibiting and off the back of the Fres Oquendo debacle it is most likely was set up.

Sturm. Tyson Fury has come out and said that he thinks Browne was poisoned. Many others have said the same. I wonder if this could be true??

Did Fury say that? I am inclined to believe that Browne is innocent as well.

Yes he did. The video is up on youtube. Check it out and see what you think. He goes on in great detail about his thoughts on his positive test and being poisoned in general.

Browne went as far to pass a lie detector test too, so I am inclined to believe he is innocent.

He may be innocent, but if people are not punished based on some allegations with no proof, where will it lead the sport ? Corrupt officials will be able to decide who to punish and who not to punish ?

There may be a punishment, but they should give careful consideration to the fact that he was the one that wanted the random testing, and was tested by both blood and urine a week from the fight. He was "caught" by a urine only test after the fight with a drug that makes absolutely no sense as an advantage on his behalf. Just sounds awful fishy. He is the first one that wanted to take a lie detector test that I know of to prove his innocence.

The punishments are already all over the board it seems depending on who catches you, what you are caught with, and what sanctioning body you are fighting under. This was an illegal drug, but not a performance enhancing drug.

This is why Fury claims that Browne's water was poisoned with a drug that had nothing to do with him winning. Fury said that in the fight against Klitschko all water offered by any German entity was turned away and they brought all of their own water and kept it in bottles, closely safeguarded by his own trainer and staff.

A heavyweight taking a diuretic? Going to be ridiculous if he gets banned, obviously there is something strange going on there. If Browne gets banned boxing will be doing this

That is true. Diuretics are often a positive in the olympics as well.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Clenbuterol is not a diuretic. There are 3 types of diuretics, and it is not listed under any of them.

Clenbuterol is a sympathomimetic amine used by sufferers of breathing disorders as a decongestant and bronchodilator. People with chronic breathing disorders such as asthma use this as a bronchodilator to make breathing easier.
