rigondeaux is the best boxer p4p on the planet.
gonzales is the boxer p4p who achieved the most.

Rigo may perhaps be the most skills, but his resume, particularly recently, doesn't hold up. His skills may have vastly deteriorated, he just hasn't fought anyone in years to show us either way. His chin makes him suspect in any p4p argument as well.Chepppaaa wrote:rigondeaux is the best boxer p4p on the planet.

Ring has Gonzalez as p4p #1 followed by Kovalev, Golovkin and Ward.MachoTime wrote:Roman Gonzalez is HBO's number one. Considering he fights for HBO. That's their opinion. As far as I can see there is no legitimate number one since Mayweather left the sport. Or someone who everyone agrees upon...same name mentioned etc..
It means Ring and ESPN and HBO have Gonzalez number one..On BoxRec Canelo is number one. Gonzalez isn't in the running.ikorolev wrote:Ring has Gonzalez as p4p #1 followed by Kovalev, Golovkin and Ward.MachoTime wrote:Roman Gonzalez is HBO's number one. Considering he fights for HBO. ESPN also has him #1 followed by Golovkin, Pac and Rigo.
What does it have to do with HBO ?
Inoue is in a higher weight class and has a 3.5" reach advantage. Roman may not be #1, but he is definitely in top 5.Baby Face Finster wrote:I don't care what anyone says Gonzalez is not #1. He gets hit way too much to be #1. As soon as he faces Inoue his undefeated record is gone.

Rigo is not the best P4P boxer on the planet. He has 1 significant win over a fighter who hasn't really looked good since. If anything his reputation is far overblownChepppaaa wrote:rigondeaux is the best boxer p4p on the planet.

One would be Loma. Smaller version of GGG would also beat him, and don't give us the "slow dude" bullcrap. Boxing is about timing, not an ability to hit mitts 100 times per second.Chepppaaa wrote:gilgamesh wrote:Rigo is not the best P4P boxer on the planet. tell me 2 boxers who would beat him p4p?
i bet you cant....and dont come with that ggg bullcrap, he would put a footwork and potshot clinic on that slow dude. tell me 2 guys with the combination of footwork, technic, speed and power that rigo possess......come on!?

So, you are saying that GGG would not beat Lara and Dirrell ??? LOL !Chepppaaa wrote:ikorolev wrote:So, where are those fast opponents who can beat "slow" Golovkin ?
i am not taking anything away from ggg, he is very good. but he is not fast and would lose in a p4p sense against the best boxer in the world and that is rigo.
at super middleweight direll is very fast
at middleweight nobody is very fast right now
at 154 lara is very fast

Dirrell lost in amateurs. There is no way he beats GGG now.Chepppaaa wrote:ikorolev wrote:So, you are saying that GGG would not beat Lara and Dirrell ??? LOL !Chepppaaa wrote:

lara not
I don't think we gotta argue P4P who could beat him. I think other Featherweights could beat him. Like Vasyl Lomachenko for instance, and yes I hate to break it to ya, but if they were the same size GGG would kick his ass and knock him out.Chepppaaa wrote:gilgamesh wrote:Rigo is not the best P4P boxer on the planet. Gonzales is another HBO hype job.Chepppaaa wrote:rigondeaux is the best boxer p4p on the planet.

Yep, another bum beater/hype job like MannyBAD INTENTIONS wrote: Gonzales is another HBO hype job.
He's really like #10 p4p.
Most of career is against total bums.
He's still in the emerging part of his career in terms of resume.
There's no way his resume compares to Kovalev.
HBO wants another Manny.
I didn't say Manny is a bum beater.ikorolev wrote:Yep, another bum beater/hype job like MannyBAD INTENTIONS wrote: Gonzales is another HBO hype job.

Wins over Niida, Takayama, Hirales-Garcia,Rodriguez, Yaegashi, Fuentes, Estrada,Yaegashi, Sosa, Viloria and Arroyo doesn't compare?BAD INTENTIONS wrote:Gonzales is another HBO hype job.Chepppaaa wrote:rigondeaux is the best boxer p4p on the planet.
