several weight classes are talent packed,
including the heavies. light heavy, middle,
welter, a lot of interesting matchups.

boxing is alive.

Shame WW is a division full of duckers so the big fights will never get made.

And Middleweight for that matter with everyone running away from GGG.

And heavyweight, the two paper champs are content to cherry-pick weak defences against bums although the rest of the division are at least fighting each other and Wilder at least hasn't ducked Povetkin.

I'd like too. But there are too many duckers and cherry-pickers in boxing.

Recent years have me feeling more pessimistic about the future of Boxing than ever before. Nobody fights the fights people want to see anymore. The ones that do are rare. Surely one of the weaker eras in Boxing history. The talent is there. The courage to take on the best is not.

Really excited about the lower weights, the emergence of Higa and Zoda, Maruta, the Inoue brothers, Ken Shiro...175 is brimming with potential....a lot of brilliant match ups could be made...
