I feel some boxing commentary is dulling down our Sport

I seriously can't stand some of HBO's commentary. I wish they would shake things up on their commentary crew. Jim Lampley is a weird diva guy who can't break down a fight so he has to talk more about stuff outside the ring rather than what's going on in it. And He has to stop with this crying BS it's seriously pitiful, pull yourself together man wth
Ppl hate on the PBC/SHO but their commentating is hands down better than HBOLD.
Boxing is a martial art, hand to hand combat, the sweet science don't dumb down our sport.
Boxing commentary from the 70's,80's,90's is 1000 X's better than what HBO is producing currently. HBO is getting out of boxing and I can't wait, our sport will grow from this.

Boxing's commentary is among the worst in sports these days.
First of all you have commentators who are clearly biased towards a fighter like Kellerman or Flores.
Next you have commentators who seem to be biased against the sport itself like Teddy Atlas. 9 times out 10 Teddy is talking about how bad one fighter is (He's only ever fought in Oklahoma...He's a little soft in the gut...etc etc etc) or how the fighters of today couldn't stand up to the fighters of the past.
I can't stand Joe Rogan (who is guilty of bias as well) or Goldie from the UFC, but they at least sell every fight they are calling. It may be too tubby Heavyweight's who haven't a prayer even in the weak UFC HW division but you would never tell by listening to them. They sell fights.
It seems before EVERY Klitschko fight you've got commentators saying he couldn't beat so and so or such and such. It's disgusting from a fans point of view. Why should I watch if all the combatants are shite compared to fighters 60 years ago?
As a commentator you have ONE job; to comment on the fight at hand. I suppose it's not required to comment positively, but in no other sport is their so much negativity.

The two allegedly commentators especially John Rawling are dull and negative. Steve Bunce is good though.
Steve Farhood is sickening to listen to, he's very biased biased and discredits the boxers he doesn't like. Raul Marquez is better, he's fair and calls it as he sees it without bias.
Teddy Atlas is truly awful, he's very bad for the sport. Antonio Tarver is an excellent commentator, fair and balanced.
Max Kellerman is poorly qualified and inappropriate for his role. However, I like Roy Jones, Jim Lampley and Bernard Hopkins as HBO commentators.
Generally, former BOXERS like Jones, Hopkins, Tarver and Marquez are better as boxing analysts than privileged rich mens' sons from New York like Farhood, Atlas and Kellerman.

Crazy talk. All of it. Lampley is going to go down as the greatest boxing commentator in the history of the sport. Period. His voice is gold and I'll be one sad dude when he retires from working fights. He's so into what he's doing that he'd often drawn to tears with the emotion he pours into this sport. Max has never fought a fight in his life but thinks he's the utmost authority on the sport challenging the boxers with his opinion. Lampley always leans on the opinion of the ex boxer in his group instead of pretending to know like Max.
Also, I saw someone also criticizing Joe Rogan and that's just as idiotic. Rogan is fantastic and breaks down the sport better than anyone could ever do it.

Kellerman still sounds like an amateur with his simple basic boring comments - just a guy with the right connections - Lampley is boring now - Al Bernstein is a tired act - malignaggi is a shill for haymon's agenda - Farhood is ok nothing to get excited about - none of these modern commentators make a fight better like Cosell Gil Clancy Tim Ryan used to do - TV boxing broadcasts have done way way down - but then again so have most of the quality of the fights these guys have to work with - in house set ups - back in the 70s and 80s most of the fights were REAL fights between rival fighters and rival managers and promoters - now most of it is all in house star creating BS - But yeah it's time for HBO to drop Kellerman and Lampley - bring in some fresh new talent -

Roy Jones is pretty good but its hard for him to feed off two dolts like Kellerman and Lampley they bring Roy down - Foreman was always interesting - Lewis was very good at times but also seemed bored by some of the fights he had to sit through - Tarver is very good - Losing Emanuel Steward and Larry merchant was devastating to TV boxing broadcasting -

Kellerman's endless smearing of Klitschko as boring is sickening - Sure he had a few bad fights but all the greats do - Kellerman was still sticking in jabs on Klitschko earlier this year repeating over and over how boring he was even though it was not a hwt fight - Kellerman sucks - he had one good line his whole career "If I was stopped at a red light and there was four sports on the corner - baseball soccer boxing and football I would turn and watch the fight" that was a good analogy - Atlas sucks - his agendas are sickening - seems to hate white fighters - typical Jewish agenda to hate on white Eastern Euro fighters - Atlas was very good in the beginning but I guess all the years in this crooked corrupt business jades everyone eventually -
