Anyone else going to the Ice Arena 14th May in Cardiff for the Haskins fight?
I've never been there before and wondered if it's a good venue for boxing and is the seating good value for money.

The Ice Arena is brand new, only been open a few weeks and this is the first boxing event there. Holds about 3,000 for the ice hockey so maybe a little more with the seats on the ice. If it's anything like the old ice rink in town when Steve Robinson was fighting there it'll be great.
The only down side is its out of town... About 8-10 quid in taxi from the city centre and not a lot around it in way of bars for a beer apart from two restaurant/pub type places within walking distance.

I went to the Cardiff Ice arena for a Calzaghe show around 2003, 'Fire on ice' I believe it was called. A FW show. Unless the other post is talking about another venue/
The views are similar to the excel I found. It's ok not too bad.
