I wonder if canelo will go down the same path as cotto and refuse to pay sanctioning fees to the WBC, he would save money and drop the belt all in one move, thus removing the pressure of fighting GGG

he would definitely look like a coward.

but him and odlh have showed no signs of wanting to box ggg so it isn't entirely out of the question.

i rate canelo though, alot, but its clear he doesn't want to share a ring with ggg

Alvarez got dominated by Mayweather and it didn't seem to harm him much.

If Golovkin beats him fairly easily: Can't he just say that he is too small for middleweight and go back to light middleweight?

At this stage running from Golovkin will probably harm him more than fighting him.
