In all seriousness i used to get irked by DeGale too but since the loss to Groves,ive kind of took to him,he seems to be on the correct side of confident/arrogant these days and ive got massive respect for what he did against Dirrell to become world champ,i actually quite like him

I like him too. Don't think he's the brightest but he always comes across a decent enough guy IMO. Dirrell is a quality operator. DeGales win against him gets overlooked I reckon. I thought Dirrell edged Froch in their fight although he stank the place out.

I thought Dirrell beat Froch too,i didnt think Carl landed a glove all night,he did press and Andre's punches were pitty patty but they were the only ones landing,opinion did seem to be 50/50 though

What Hearn did to Degale was a disgrace. Hes was meant to be acting in his best interest, He knew Froch would not fight him but instead kept him in limbo for over 6 months because he didn't want ask a retiring froch to give up his belt.

It doesn't matter how good the boxer is but how durable they are when your talking about stopping someone, I would say Periban is more durable then Groves, also the punch that floored Dirrell would have sent Groves into next week Froch style.

Facts are they went the distance once. DeGale hasn't stopped anybody since he has moved up in level from Periban, I believe Groves is a level above Periban (as do all the governing bodies) so I would edge towards DeGale not stopping him either...

This is no surprise really, we have all seen this coming since Haymon came involved.Hearn has barely mentioned the Medina fight snd said that Degale-Jack isn't ppv worthy, If Haymon had his own Tv deal and promotional arm in the UK you would never see Degale on a Matchroom show again . It's not a huge loss in the grand scheme of things despite Degales talent, this has been building for a while but I still expect Degale-Smith will be made next year on ppv of course.
