How about Mock... 44... power carries and he is a proof... Just scored a brutal KO in his last one vs Silva


Seems like he regularly drops his opponent once in wins or losses (lots of the KDs not listed on Boxrec)
























How good is Zegarra? IMO he is one of the most gifted fighter active in boxing right now.


His main problem is he is from Peru... he is a super star there but they just can't gather enough money to get him steady good competition.


Each time i watch Zegarra, i see spoiled talent...


A fighter THAT gifted offensively could be a star if promoted well.


But the lack of challenge made him lack focus... He got hit when he could easily slip punches... he got dropped by fighters who he should've disposed earlier...


Besides an elite chin, this kid has elite skills... just a question of using them wisely... he shows glimpses of pure genious at times slipping multiple shots and throwing precise power shots combos in counters...


He is explosive and talented...









Zegarra has enough talent to badly outbox Mock... BUT since this is a step up for him, i expect him to look sloppy at times... which means Mock will be able to apply his pop and Zegarra has been down a few times vs lesser opposition. Mock is a world class puncher... What a HUGE mistake to let Zegarra get his best payday but vs what looks like an easy fight but is a VERY dangerous fight.

Very interesting fight, but a shame that a guy going into his 31st fight is stepping up against a 44 year old Mock. No disrespect to Mock but surely he is a fair bit past his prime!

And yes it sounds strange to see Mock as a step up but he is. He showed effective pop vs all levels of fighters. unfortunately for fighters from small markets like Zegarra, Mock is a dangerous step up in competition. Mock has experience, durability and more importantly power.

Surprised they let Zegarra shaved his Reyes with tape that bad!

In 2004 we fought on same card in Germany and I told my trainer that he was a real fighter, Mock can fight and punch he is a very good fighter wish him the best

At least, Zegarra wore a spiffy suit for the event poster. Unfortunately, that didn't guarantee another win on his soft 30-0 record.
