Some people just don't learn.
Everything Tyson Fury says you take with a pinch of salt, he plays people and some fall for it time and time again.

I understand the concept of political incorrectness to gain exposure: Muhammad Ali, Donald Trump etc
But then there are just drama queens like Tapia and Haye.
Not sure which category Fury will fall into yet.

This won't be Tysons last fight if he wins again. If he loses who knows? I wouldn't be surprised if he jacked it in.

I really wonder if it's a trick to motivate himself.

I really wonder if Fury's whole I hate boxing and I just want to eat ice cream persona is a ploy to make him a huge underdog, so when Fury wins the rematch (if of course) his friends and family can cash in financially big time.
You don't have to be a bookie or professional gambler to realize that you make more when you win betting on the underdog.

Fury says controversial things to keep his name out there... Just spell the name right... Beats getting arrested.

He also said he wanted to fight Wilder, which is pretty much the first vid you see if you type Wilder,s name on youtube, he also said he expected Martin to win against that bum AJ, but actually really hoped AJ would win. He said things about gays and later kissed one I heard. I can't really keep up with all the things he says.

He is the champ so has conquered but hope to see him fight Wilder at least before he leaves. After all he did cause a ruckus immediately after Wilders last fight.

Tyson often changes his mind after making bold statements. Sure would love to see him show up in Moscow to confront Wilder again though.

Maybe he's DUMBER... He said it would take a miracle for "muscle bound Joshua" to beat Charles Martin. That had me LMAO at his stupidity.

I hope he keeps his promise. Yes, he won with Wlad and probably retired him (after rematch) and that is good for boxing, but otherwise the fight was horrible to watch.

I wish Fury would have had to fight Wilder, Ortiz, Joshua, or a top five guy before the fight with Wlad. He ran scared after the weigh in from Ustinov, when Haye cancelled, but people politely or conveniently forget that.
I have said before, him and Khan have something in common...fight the biggest name, (not necessarly the best) then retire saying there is not a reason to go on because they were competitive with the best. Anything else would be a step down. Truth be told, both guys would get KO'd by 3 or 4 guys on their weight division.

Yeah guys should have to face other belt holders or prospects way less proven than them to fight the best. That'd make sense. He backed out of the Ustinov fight because a family member was very ill. While Ustinov probably would have been a decent fight for him to prepare for Wlad, it's not like he would've gotten much praise for winning that, Ustinov just isn't very good, it was going to be largely a keep busy fight.
