Amir Khan is a Grade A Cherry Pick

Very surprising things happen in the business of Boxing... Such as, I never expected John David Jackson to allow Chris Algieri into a ring with Errol Spence.. JDJ is generally a smart guy—or so I believed before the last Jennings and Algieri matchups... Just how the Ortiz and Spence fights could possibly help Bryant and Chris is beyond me... It DID show them beyond a doubt just how far they need to go to be good.. You might think they’d have some inkling about that without being tossed to the lions.
Bradley, Khan, Maidana, and Pacquiao wouldn't get into a ring with Spence to save their lives - because they can grasp the outcome of such a move... Khan also knows exactly what's going down Saturday night. Virgil Hunter certainly knows.. It's a lot of money and they know they’re gonna lose.. It's a business fight.
Hunter and Khan could be thinking about this in 2 ways... Plan A, fight at a furious pace for as long as you can - to obliterate the idea that you just took the fight for the money.. Get up on really shaky legs when you get floored so the referee stops it without AK getting murdered.. Then complain about the stoppage.. Plan B, box cautiously and survive as many rounds as you possibly can... Try to emulate Miguel Cotto in there and push it to the late rounds - anything to make fans think this is a legitimate matchup ... even though it's a Grade A Cherry-Pick.

The fact Hunter was against the fight says a lot.
Hunter will think it unlikely that Khan can win.. but possible. Given hunter doesn't usually hold back I am sure he will have given Khan and his team his full opinion of what they are up against and the likelyhood of success. 12 weeks to go up 8 pounds and fight a guy who is even big for that weight is extremely risky.
His family is thinking this will bring closure to his 'hunt for a superfight' quest, and money.
Khan himself will actually believe that not only can he win but he can outdo Mayweathers performance.

Khan is going to look absurdly fast compared to Alvarez.
I'm not saying I think he (Khan) will win, I think he'll probably get worn down and maybe stopped late, but he'll be fast. Khan may well have the fastest hands in boxing, for my money. And it takes a guy like Angulo to make Saul look fast.

I think what will be really fast is a KO by Alvarez.

Yeah, if there's anything Saul Alvarez is known for, it's those blistering fast stoppages.

When was the last time he fought somebody so small and chinny ? ... and he did take out Kirkland in 3.

This fight is a joke. Only possible way Khan wins this fight is by TKO/KO because the judges will favor Canelo in close rounds. I honestly don't see this fight going past 4. Once Canelo lands flush, Khan's whole game plan will change to survival mode.

Betting on Canelo is like betting that the sun will rise tomorrow... Betting on Khan is like betting that Teddy Atlas can get a date with Emma Stone.
