Works when the opponent fights like an idiot and blows his load inside 4 rounds, doesn't go so well when they see what's going on and are content to ease their way through the early rounds with more than enough left to withstand any late onslaught.

Crolla was actually throwing back and making Barroso work to win the early rounds.

I think some posters panic or get impatient if a fighter loses the first 2 or 3 rounds.

What do some people want, the fighter to jump up and down, waste energy, throw all the best shots from the start, show his hand and burn up energy?

True if Crolla were to ever fight Flanagan that tactic would be disastrous IMO.
