My vote: Pulev remains at #5, Chisora to #13.
Note: This topic is for voting on the rankings of Pulev and Chisora. Posting your own top 15 will not count as a vote. Please cast your vote in the manner that I have done above.

Pulev - Stays at No. 5
Chisora - Stays at No. 11
I don't think Stiverne should be moving up the rankings, so I think Chisora should stay where he is for now.

Pulev rank 1
Chisora rank 2
Not that I think either of them is that good, but they are obviously better as Glazkov for example and clearly shouldn't be ranked lower because they do fight top contenders when they can, unlike Wilder for example.

This is why jezzamundo doesn't use the mean vote.

It's also the reason why 8 year Olds should not be able to post on here. He is either a child or a fucktard.
Either way Horse don't waste your time on him.

Pulev 5
Chisora 13
I can't stand to watch either fighter.

Fury
Klitschko
Povetkin
Wilder
Pulev
Joshua
Ortiz
Browne
Taper
Tarver
That's the way it is now and it looks right to me - except I'm not clear about how Tarver got in there, and Taper has been banned for two years so he should be removed from the list.

Exactly!

Pulev to #4
Chisora to stay at #11
I was expecting this match to be very one sided Pulev win. Instead the fight was pretty close one. Pulev clearly won but not with that many rounds. Chisora was constantly going to the body of Pulev and I think he stole some rounds where Pulev just didn't do enough. Pulev is on different level than Chisora. Now it is time for guys like Ortiz and Joshua to up the ante and get some wins to prove that they are better than Pulev.
Chisora was looking pretty good in this match. He was in pretty good shape this time around. He is good gatekeeper at the moment. He will loose to the best ones but win against the rest.

Exactly!
That's why you should vote the way you think the most reliable ranks will come there. That's by throwing guys like Glazkov, Stiverne, Scott and name them out of his top rankings and start putting the real top in.

- As I proved recently, the use of median as the tool to determine rankings in such a limited poll is grossly flawed, but hey-ho, it's boxrec, so it's expected.
I vote Pulev stay at 5 and vote Chisora as out. The guy has never stepped up in any of the big fights he's had, even when the fighter was injured and limited to one arm as Vitali and Helenius were.
Now, I love to see the explanation as to how an out vote is being tabulated in this median system. One shudders to imagine the quagmire had golf decided to be scored using the median as opposed to the current way using sum of strokes per game which is very much like the rating system I suggested. Doubt it would have ever caught on.

I think they both should stay. This fight was exactly as expected.

Does anyone suggesting moving Chisora down think Bermane Stiverne would have done any better?

Trivial, it's basically just after the lowest.

Pulev up to #4
Chisora remains at #11.
Spilka hasn't won since he's lost and Stiverne doesn't fight.

You proved no such thing, perhaps to yourself, but that's about it.

Exactly right - it's the middle vote or the mean of the middle two votes. You can think of out being a 16 vote or a 100 vote - it makes no difference.
I've never said that median was ideal for anything other than tallying votes - I agree that scoring golf based on median score would be stupid.

Only thing you have proven is that you have no idea what median is and therefore you don't know what you are talking about.

I think both Stiverne an Szpilka would have done better. More importantly they have better recent records, which is what matters in ranking.

Pulev at 5
Chisora out
Chisora is over 2 years since his last reasonable win against an opponent ranked 28. Since that he lost to Fury (no disgrace) and IMO totally dominated by Pulev. His style has not changed, he is not a big puncher, so there is nothing subjectively that leads to believe he can ever defeat a top 20 opponent again. Objectively that is backed up, he faced 5 non top 100 opponents prior to the Pulev fight.
Everyone on that list beats him. Stiverne would totally school him.

He already beat Malik Scott.
